Answer:

321 closed boxes can be made.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- Rectangular metal sheet of 8.5m long (L)=850cm and 3.8m wide(W)=380cm.

Area of rectangular sheet = Length\times Width

=L\times W

= 850\times 380

Area of rectangular metal sheet = 323000 square\ cm

Now, to calculate total sheet required for 1 closed box of 17cm(l)\times 19cm(b)\times 5cm(h)

Area of sheet required for 1 closed box =(Side a\times 2)+(Side b\times 2)+(Side c\times 2)

=(19\times 5\times 2)+(17\times 5\times 2)+(19\times 17\times 2)

=190+170+646

=1006

Area of sheet required for 1 closed box=1006\ Square\ cm

Now,

Total number of boxes can be made = Area of rectangular sheet divided by  Area of sheet required for 1 box

=\frac{323000}{1006}

Total number of boxes can be made=321.07=321

Therefore 321 numbers of boxes can be made out of it.

MrMuchimi

∠ROT=160°

∠SOT=100°

Now ∠SOR= ∠ROT - ∠SOT

∠ SOR = 160°-100°

∠ SOR =60°

It is given that measure of angle ROQ to equals the measure of angle QOS equals the measure of angle POT.

∠SOQ + ∠QOR = 60°

But ∠SOQ = ∠QOR

2∠SOQ=60°

∠SOQ=60°÷2

∠SOQ =30°

Also ∠POT=∠SOQ=∠ROQ=30°

Alenkasestr [34]
Draw the picture and label the
  width = w
 The length of the monitor is six times the quantity of five less than half its width:
 length = 6(w/2-5)
 length = 3w-30
 Area = (length)*(width)
 384=(3w-30)*(w)
 384=3w^2-30w
 Answer:
 the dimensions of the monitor in terms of its width is:
 384=3w^2-30w
