Explanation:

First we calculate the mass of the water in the tank by multiplying the density of the water with the volume of the tank in which the water is. Afterwards we calculate the total mass of the tank-water system.  

M(water) = V(tank)*P(water)  

              = 0.2 m^3.1000 kg/m^3

              = 200 kg  

  M(tot) = M(tank) + M(water)

              = 3 kg + 200 kg = 203 kg  

To obtain the weight of the system we multiply the mass of the system with the gravitational acceleration.  

          F = M(tot)g

              = 203 kg • 9.81 m/s^2

              = 1991.43 N
