This is for my Physical Education Class. We are focusing on communication. For extra credit I have to get an opinion other than

my own. The question is below :)
Communication is the act of sending and receiving messages. Sometimes messages are communicated verbally, with words, or nonverbaly, with body language. When communication is effective, the intended message is received. When communication is ineffective, messages are unclear. Describe a time when you had difficulty communicating a message. A simple example is when people don't understand sarcasm. It happened once to me that i was being sarcastic and people thought that i was serious. In the end, there was a big argument because those people believed that i had been serious while i clearly believed they understood my sarcasm.

Answer and Explanation:

What Robert Putnam meant to say by the statement was that the number of active meaningful societies, and the extent to which they are socially active, would go a long way in determining the health and well-being of the citizens: the number and level of activity of Italy’s choral societies (choir groups) have had a great impact on the wellbeing of many Italians—similar to getting health bills reimbursed, or using high-level social activities to enhance well-being.

Suppose Canada has a population of 30 million people and a labor force participation rate of 2/3. Furthermore, suppose the natur
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

the unemployment rate is above the natural rate of unemployment

Explanation:

The unemployment rate may be defined as the percent of the unemployed people in a total labor force. Workers may be considered as unemployed when they do not work currently, but they are willing to work and are able to do so.

The total labor force of a country includes all the employed as well as the  unemployed people within the economy.

The natural rate of unemployment is defined as the unemployment rate which  exist in a growing economy.

In the context, total population is given = 30 million

Labor force participation rate = 2/3.

Therefore, labor force = 2/3 of 30 million

                                    = 20 million people

The natural rate of unemployment in Canada is given = 7%

The current unemployed people is = 2 million

Therefore, unemployment rate =  (unemployed people/total labor force) x 100

                                                    = (2/20) x 100

                                                     = 10 %

Thus

natural rate of unemployment in Canada is 7%

unemployment rate is 10%

From here we can see that the unemployemnet rate is higher than the natural rate of unemployment in Canada.

Hence the answer is ---

the unemployment rate is above the natural rate of unemployment
