Kipish [7]

Answer:

Avoidant attachment

Explanation:

Attachment is a concept used in psychology to describe how infants relate to their parents or principal caregiver.

The way parents interact with their infants during their first months of life will determine the attachment the kids will develop.

Avoidant attachment is one of the types of attachment that can be developed, parents of children with this attachment are usually emotionally unavailable or unresponsive to them for a good part of the day and/or night. They tend to ignore the child needs and don't like it when the child cries. Therefore, children learn that displaying distress or emotions can lead to rejection or punishing.

In this example, Blanca rarely holds Joey and tends to respond to his needs in an angry, irritable fashion. We can see that she is being unresponsive and ignores Joey's needs. Therefore, it is most likely that Joey will develop an avoidant attachment with his mother.

romanna [79]

The system of checks and balances was created so that one branch does not obtain more power and virtually "conquer" the government. It was created by our founding fathers when they realized that there first draft of an idea of government was not very easy to handle. Those were the Articles of Confederation which gave a few branches to much power over the people and government. In my opinion, the power of the branches is more or less fairly split.

Fudgin [204]

Answer:

The answer is a): Equity indexed annuity

Explanation:

When an annuity owner is funding an annuity that will supplement her retirement because she doesn’t know how inflation may affect her retirement dollars in the future, she would likely find equity-indexed annuities more appealing, and purchase it because it can give her the opportunity to earn minimum or get a higher return than what the stock performance or traditional fixed-rate annuities that the largest (500) companies in the United States’ stock exchange would be able to attract for her. In addition, she will be protected against possible downsides like unseen and unpredictable inflation rates.

Answer:

The correct answer is:

b. problem-focused and emotion-focused coping.

Explanation:

In psychology, the problem focused coping is a mechanism used by individuals in order to focus the attention in solving the problem that is causing stress. On the other hand, emotion focused coping has to do the idea of managing or handling the emotions around the problematic situation instead of trying to change the problem or its cause.

In Helen specific case, what she is doing is a combination of the two coping systems; since she programs her time in order to work in her projects and she is also allocating time to deal with the stress and the emotions with activities that she can enjoy more.
