Condtioned stimulus is a type of stimulus that enhance some response when they are been paired with natural stimulus.
For example, water is an unconditioned stimulus, and been thirsty in response to the sound of water is an unconditioned response which is why the conditioned response would be feeling thirsty when you heard the sound of water due to the fact that conditioned response is a behavior that does not come naturally because it must be learned by the person or individual by pairing neutral stimulus with a potent stimulus which does not require any learning just as in the case of Sven whose eats popcorn every time he goes to the movies in which when he goes to a new theatre with no concessions and finds that his mouth is watering for popcorn the entire time which therefore indicate the conditioned stimulus of WATCHING THE MOVIES AND EATING POPCORN.
