Answer:

206 albums The King of Limbs and 34 albums The Best of Radiohead sold

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the no. of The album The Best of Radiohead sold .

We are given that total  sales of both albums in one week is 240 albums.

So, number of albums The King of Limbs = 240 -x

Cost of 1 album The Best of Radiohead by Radiohead is $13.83

Cost of x album The Best of Radiohead by Radiohead = 13.83x

Cost of 1 album The King of Limbs, by Radiohead= $7.83

Cost of (240-x) album The King of Limbs, by Radiohead=7.83(240-x)

The total cost revenue of both albums in that week is 2083.20

So,  13.83x+7.83(240-x)=2083.20

13.83x+1879.2-7.83x=2083.20

13.83x-7.83x=2083.20-1879.2

6x=204

x=\frac{204}{6}

x=34

The no. of The album The Best of Radiohead sold is 34

Number of albums The King of Limbs = 240 -x =240-34=206

Hence 206 albums The King of Limbs and 34 albums The Best of Radiohead sold

jeyben [28]

Answer:

3/25

Step-by-step explanation:

3 red marbles, 4 green marbles, and 3 blue marbles = 10 marbles

P(green) = number of green / total = 4/10 = 2/5

We replace it

3 red marbles, 4 green marbles, and 3 blue marbles = 10 marbles

P(red) = number of red / total = 3/10

P(green, replace,red) =2/5*3/10 = 3/25

grigory [225]

Answer:

Probability (N more than 2) = 0.3773

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Average number of crashes (N) = 2.2

Find:

Probability (N more than 2)

Computation:

Probability (N more than 2) = [1-P(N=0)-P(N=1)-P(N=2)]

Probability (N more than 2) = [1 - e⁻²°² - 2.2e⁻²°² - (2.2²e⁻²°²)/2]

Probability (N more than 2) = 0.3773

Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

9.72%

Step-by-step explanation:

Our values here are:

Sample Size, n= 55

Standard Deviation is 2.

\sigma = \frac{s}{\sqrt{n}} = \frac{2}{\sqrt{n}}

\sigma = 0.26968

Our probability of obtaining a sample equal or less to 2 hours is

P(X \leq 2) = P ( Z \leq \frac{2-2.35}{0.26968})

P=(Z \leq -1.292835) = 0.0972

We can conclude that our probability is 9.72% from a population whose mean is presumed to be 2.35hours
