Answer:

The particles are moving so if you had a liquid and it physically changed to a solid the liquid particles would be spread out and moving more rapidly but since its changing to a solid in theory the particles would begin to become more compacted and tightly together causing them to not move as much and the particles come closer together.

Sample Response: When a physical change occurs, the arrangement of particles within the substance may change, but the atoms in the molecules remain bonded together. I promise that's the right answer its literally the sample response.

For each of the following substituents, indicate whether it withdraws electrons inductively, donates electrons by hyperconjugati
AveGali [126]

Answer:

a. withdraws electrons inductively

b. donates electrons by hyperconjugation

c. donates electrons by resonance

d.  withdraws electrons inductively

Explanation:

a.  The bromide ion is a highly electronegative ion (in the halide series). Electronegative substituents on acids increase the acidity by inductive electron withdrawal method. The higher the electronegativity of a substance, the greater the acidity. The halogens have this order of electronegativity:

F > Cl > Br>I

b.  The carboxyl groups have a stabilization of the sigma and pi bonds. This is achieved through a special delocalization of electrons.  Because of the delocalization, hyperconjugation is the result effect.

c. The NHCH₃ group has a highly electonegative nitrogen atom that pulls the electron cloud towards itself. In this case, it withdraws electrons inductively. As a result, it donates electrons by resonance.

d. The OCH₃ group has a highly electonegative oxygen atom. This oxygen atom withdraws electron cloud towards itself. As a result, it withdraws electrons inductively.

A. A nurse practitioner prepares 500. mL of an IV of normal saline solution to be delivered at a rate of 80. mL/h. What is the i
nydimaria [60]
A. Quantity of saline = 500mL
Rate of infusion = 80 mL / h
Infusion time = Quantity / Rate = 500 mL / (80 mL/hr) = 6.25 hr
b. Child weight = 72.6 lb = 32.93 kg
Medrol to be given = 1.5 mg per kg
Quantity of Medrol = 20 mg/mL
Dosage available = 20 mg/mL / 1.5 mg/kg = 13.33 kg/mL
Dosage according to body weight = 32.93 kg / 13.33 kg/mL = 2.47 mL

In the redox conversion of Ni2+ to NiO4−, the oxidation number of Ni goes from (−2, 0, +2) to (−1, +1, +7, +9). Recall that the
inessss [21]
Oxidation number of an atom is the charge that atom would have if the compound is composed of ions. In neutral substances that contains atoms of one element the oxidation number of an atom is zero. Thus atoms in O2, Ni2, and aluminium all have oxidation number of zero.
In this case, Ni2, the oxidation number of Ni atom is zero,
for NiO4-, assuming oxidation number of Ni is x
 (x ×1) + (-2 × 4) = -1
  x = + 7
Therefore, the oxidation number goes from 0 to +7
