Answer : The balanced chemical reaction will be,

Fe_2O_3+3CO\rightarrow 2Fe+3CO_2

The coefficient of CO is, 3

Explanation :

Balanced chemical reaction : It is defined as the reaction in which the number of atoms of individual elements present on reactant side must be equal to the product side.

If the amount of atoms of each type on the left and right sides of a reaction differs then to balance the equation by adding coefficient in the front of the elements or molecule or compound in the chemical equation.

The coefficient tell us about that how many molecules or atoms present in the chemical equation.

The unbalanced chemical reaction is,

Fe_2O_3+CO\rightarrow Fe+CO_2

This reaction is an unbalanced chemical reaction because in this reaction number of iron and oxygen atoms are not balanced.

In order to balance the chemical equation, the coefficient '2' put before the Fe and the coefficient '3' put before the CO\text{ and }CO_2 we get the balanced chemical equation.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

Fe_2O_3+3CO\rightarrow 2Fe+3CO_2

Thus, the coefficient of CO is, 3

Which one is balanced or unbalanced force 1. Change object motion 2. Push or pull 3. Have direction 4. Do not change objects mot
Margaret [11]

Answer:

Explanation:

1. Change object motion - unbalanced force

2. Push or pull - Balanced forces do not cause a change in motion. When balanced forces act on an object at rest, the object will not move. If you push against a wall, the wall pushes back with an equal but opposite force. Neither you nor the wall will move. Forces that cause a change in the motion of an object are unbalanced forces. So if object move it is unbalanced.

3. Have direction - unbalanced force

4. Do not change objects motion - balanced force

5. Net force does not =0 - unbalanced force

6.net force =0 - balanced force

Based on the results of this lab, write a short paragraph that summarizes how to distinguish physical changes from chemical chan
Kaylis [27]

Physical changes occur when the properties of a substance are retained and/or the materials can be recovered after the change. Chemical changes involve the formation of a new substance. Formation of a gas, solid, light, or heat are possible evidence of chemical change.

A chemical engineer calculated that 15.0 mol H2 was needed to react with excess N2 to prepare 10.0 mol NH3. But the actual yield
rjkz [21]

Answer:

The actual number of moles is 9 moles.

It is less than 15

Number of moles needed is 9 moles

Explanation:

15H2 + 10N2 ——-> 10NH3

Now from the question, we can see that the percentage yield is 60%

The percentage yield can be calculated as actual moles of H2/Theoretical moles of H2 * 100%

From the equation, we can see that the theoretical number of moles of hydrogen is 15.

Now to get the actual : 60 = x/15 * 100

x = 9

The actual number of moles is 9 moles.

It is less than 15

Number of moles needed is 9 moles

How many moles of koh are contained in 750. ml of 5.00 m koh solution?
Marat540 [252]
Molarity is one of  the method of expressing concentration of solution. Mathematically it is expressed as,
 Molarity = \frac{\text{number of moles of solute}}{\text{volume of solution (l)}}

Given: Molarity of solution = 5.00 M
Volume of solution = 750 ml = 0.750 l

∴ 5 = \frac{\text{number of moles}}{.750}
∴ number of moles = 3.75

Answer: Number of moles of KOH present in solution is 3.75.
