I'm not positive on the first one but I believe it's all four sides.

2) KPT and KRT. when stating congruence the order must be the same. in this case the start and end of the triangle is the same (K, and T)
3) C. :E, The letter placement matches. in number two P is congruent to R.
4) B. if you start at the top (J) then to find the other triangle you must also start at the top. it goes from J to K. so on the other triangle you must also go the short leg first so M to C. then finish it off.
5)D. if one triangle has LMNPQ, then there are five letters so five parts. the other triangle is congruent and also has five letters and five parts. so there are five congruent parts
6)D. its asking for the triangle congruent to MQN. it says C and N are equal and N is at the end of the order so the congruent triangle must have C at the end of the order.E and Q are congruent and Q is in the middle so E must also me in the Middle. the only option is DEC
7) B this test really makes you focus on placement. in the congruent statement the E and B and both in the middle and therefore pair up together
8)B. again, if you start with the angle that is congruent in one order then its needs to happen for the other order. Then they both follow down the congruent side with 1 tally and finish it off with the side they both share.
9) I'm thinking its "triangles" it sounds like AAS or AAA congruency

As a side note for a lot of these just remember CPCTC. Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent

Finally 10)C. CPCTC. its all about order

The number of "destination weddings" has skyrocketed in recent years. For example, many couples are opting to have their wedding
Andru [333]

Answer:

There is no sufficient evidence to support the claim that wedding cost is less than $30000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Values (x) ∑(Xi-X)^2

----------------------------------

29.1                    0.1702

28.5                  1.0252

28.8                  0.5077

29.4                   0.0127

29.8                  0.0827

29.8                  0.0827

30.1                   0.3452

30.6                   1.1827

----------------------------------------

236.1                 3.4088

Mean = 236.1 / 8 = 29.51

S_{x}=\sqrt{3.4088/(8-1)}=0.6978

Statement of the null hypothesis:

H0: u ≥ 30 the mean wedding cost is not less than $30,000

H1: u < 30 the mean wedding cost is less than $30,000

Test Statistic:

t=\frac{X-u}{S/\sqrt{n}}=\frac{29.51-30}{0.6978/\sqrt{8}}= \frac{-0.49}{0.2467}=-1.9861

Test criteria:

SIgnificance level = 0.05

Degrees of freedom = df = n - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7

Reject null hypothesis (H0) if

t

Finding in the t distribution table α=0.05 with df=7, we have

t_{0.05,7}=2.365

t>-t_{0.05,7} = -1.9861 > -2.365

Result: Fail to reject null hypothesis

Conclusion: Do no reject the null hypothesis

u ≥ 30 the mean wedding cost is not less than $30,000

There is no sufficient evidence to support the claim that wedding cost is less than $30000.

Hope this helps!

Drag and drop an answer to each box to correctly complete the explanation for deriving the formula for the volume of a sphere.
Advocard [28]
The volume of a sphere is given by:

V= \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}

So, we need to deduct this equation. We will walk through Calculus on the concept of a solid of revolution that is a solid figure that is obtained by rotating a plane curve around some straight line (the axis of revolution<span>) that lies on the same plane. We know from calculus that:

</span>V=\pi \int_{a}^{b}[f(x)]^{2}dx
<span>
Then, according to the concept of solid of revolution we are going to rotate a circumference shown in the figure, then:

</span>x^{2}+y^{2}=r^{2}
<span>
Isolationg y:

</span>y= \sqrt{r^{2}-x^{2}}<span>

So,

</span>f(x)=y=\sqrt{r^{2}-x^{2}}<span>

</span>V=\pi \int_{a}^{b}[\sqrt{r^{2}-x^{2}}]^{2}dx
<span>
</span>V=\pi \int_{a}^{b}(r^{2}-x^{2})dx<span>

being -r and r the limits of this integral.

</span>V=\pi \int_{-r}^{r}(r^{2}-x^{2})dx
<span>
Solving:

</span>V=\pi[r^{2}x-\frac{x^{3}}{3}]\right|_{-r}^{r}

Finally:
<span>
</span>V=\pi(r^{3}-\frac{r^{3}}{3})-\pi(-r^{3}+\frac{r^{3}}{3})= \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}<span>
</span><span>
</span>
