Punishment has to follow that behaviour which David wants to change in the puppy.

Further Explanation:

David followed very immediate method because he was a very quick result that is not possible. Whenever we punish someone we want to change that person or animal by changing its surroundings. The change occur as the response after the punishment is given to reduce the chances of the occurrence of that same behaviour shortly. There are two types of punishment positive punishment and negative punishment. In type I punishment the experimenter punishes by presenting the aversivestimulus into the animal’s surrounding like an electric shock. Type II punishment or negative punishment is an Appetitive stimulus is removed like removal of feeding dish.  In David’s case Type I punishment is applied. Punishment is not the effect of reinforcement. Punishment only decreases the occurrence of that response temporarily and can also produce emotional behaviour. Some physiological changes are increased heart rate. Punishment is considered as the primary process by some behavioural psychologists. It is independent phenomena of learning and different from the reinforcement.

Answer:

The punishment has to follow the behavior that David wants to change in the puppy.

Explanation:

According to operant conditioning, for the puppy to understand that he is being punished for a certain behavior, the punishment needs to be inforced immediately after the behavior has taken place. David punished the puppy until he came home from work and time had passed since the action and the punsihment, therefore, the puppy can't make out the relationship between the two.

tigry1 [53]

Answer:

There will be 16 people who are both writer and editor

Explanation:

We have given there are total of 100 people

So total = 100

There are 45 writers so,Writers = 45;

It is given that there are more than 38 editors so ,Editors > 38

Both = x;

Neither = 2x

We know that

Total = Writers + Editors - Both + Neither

100 = 45 + Editors - x + 2x

x = 55 - Editors

We want to maximize x, thus we should minimize Editors minimum possible value of Editors is 39, thus:

x = Both = 55 - 39 = 16.

Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

The birth of a baby causes stress, increased responsibility and even sleep deprivation. Which makes new parents unhappy about many points in their lives, including marriage.

Explanation:

The arrival of a baby is accompanied by difficult and stressful days. The baby increases the responsibility of the new parents who, besides having to take care of the baby, need to take care of the house, the housework, work, pay bills, among other things. Stress at this time can take high levels and make parents sad, tired and unhappy with their lives. All this trouble and tiredness begins to take hold of many areas in the life of new parents, including marriage. Therefore we can say that it is not uncommon that many parents are not content with marriage three years after the birth of the baby.
