Then, number of CD kept by Julia  =\frac{C}{2}

Number of CD's Ahmed have  =\frac{C}{2}+5

Total number of CD's= Number of CD's possessed by Julia +Number of CD's Ahmed have

x= \frac{C}{2}+\frac{C}{2}+5\\\\x=C+5
