The similarities between them include: (1) their aim is to persuade and encourage customers to believe into what they are saying as well as both are informative. This takes the speech to be of persuasive type (2) usage of words that catches the ears of the listeners. The differences include (1) advertisements focus only on the positive side or strengths of the product to be sold in the market while in speeches, you lay down all the strengths and weakness of a particular area or subject.(2) speeches' subjects cover a wider scope compared to advertisements which is usually product based or centered.

this is the sample response

Both the advertisement and the speech focus on industry work as vital to the war effort. However, the advertisement directly connects factory work to war victory through images and a concise message with key words, such as free and win. By contrast, the speech delivers this message by thanking workers in various American industries. It lists a variety of industries and speaks equally of the roles of men and women, whereas the advertisement focuses solely on men working in factories.

andreev551 [17]

Answer:

The best answer to the question: How many trials might Jay require to perform the same task, would be: at least 30 trials.

Explanation:

Commonly speaking an intellectual disability is diagnosed when an IQ test is administered and the results show a score lower than 70. This means that a person´s perceptual, learning and understanding capacities, as well as cognition, will be less rapid than those with higher IQ scores.

Seeing a figure like a circle and a triangle, diferentiating them, learning their differences and understanding those differences, depends on the mental acuity and the fast processing and integrating centers in the brain. Jay, who has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability, which means his IQ is below 70, will take a lot more trials to differentiate a circle from a triangle, than Tony, because these shapes are particularly complex, and require the engagement of processing centers that will take longer in Jay to engage. Thus, he will need at least 10 times more tries than Tony to learn the difference between the two figures.

Explanation:

Fielder's Contingency Theory of Leadership states that your effectiveness as a leader is determined by how well your leadership style matches the situation. This theory is based on the idea that leadership styles hinge on four behaviors: telling, selling, participating and delegating. The maturity levels range from an incompetence or unwillingness to perform the task, to a willingness and ability to perform.
