To make a plot, you have to establish which is the independent and dependent variable. The independent variable (x-axis) is time in years; the dependent variable (y-axis) is mass of tritium in grams. Then, you create a formula.

At year 1,
726(1 - 0.05626) = 685.16 g

At year 2,
685.16 (1 - 0.05626) = 646.61 g

At year 3,
646.61 g (1 - 0.05626) = 610.23 g

and so on and so forth. It is easier to use MS Excel for this step. The final graph is shown in the picture. In ten years' time, the mass of tritium would be 406.87 g. That's almost half of the original mass.

What additional information would prove that LMNP is a rectangle? The length of LM is and the length of MN is . The slope of LP
kumpel [21]

Answer:

The correct answer is diagonals are equal and bisect each other.

Step-by-step explanation:

A rectangle is a quadrilateral with opposites sides equal in length and all interior angles equal to 90°. Opposite sides are parallel and adjacent sides are perpendicular. Diagonals in a rectangle are equal in length and they bisect each other. If we want to draw a circumcircle, then the point of intersection of these diagonals give the circumcenter.

A train station has installed a system for determining whether bags contain explosives. It has a 95% chance of correctly identif
astraxan [27]

Answer:

a) P(identified as containing explosives)=P(actually contains explosives and identified as containing explosives)+P(actually not contains explosives and identified as containing explosives)

=(10/(4*106))*0.95+(1-10/(4*106))*0.005 =0.005002363

hence  probability that it actually contains explosives given identified as containing explosives)

=(10/(4*106))*0.95/0.005002363=0.000475

b)

let probability of correctly identifying a bag without explosives be a

hence a =0.99999763 ~ 99.999763%

c)

No as even if that becomes 1 ; proportion of true explosives will always be less than half of total explosives detected,

Compute P7,2. (Enter an exact number.)
Katarina [22]

Answer:

42

Step-by-step explanation:

The permutation formula is P(n, r) = n! / (n - r)!. We know that n = 7 and r = 2 so we can write:

7! / (7 - 2)!

= 7! / 5!

= 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 / 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1

= 7 * 6 (5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 cancels out)

= 42
