The answer is true. Alcohol is a major contributor to high percentages of academic problems and college dropouts.

EXPLANATION:

Unhealthy drinking behavior has increased in college. 4 out of 5 students admit that they drink alcohol. They also admit that they engage in binge-drinking daily. This data is based on a survey conducted by the National Institute of Health (NIH). NIH also stated that there are negative consequences of this condition (college students drinking alcohol). They are:

• Irresponsible alcohol use causes the death of over 1.500 students

• More than half of million students are physically assaulted by the intoxicated students

• Over 150.000 students engage in health issues related to alcohol

• Around 600.000 students commit in serious injury due to alcohol issue

• 28% of all college dropouts are related to the alcohol problem

• 40% of academic issues are related to an alcohol problem.

Alcohol plays a huge role in academic problems. Alcohol affects students’ ability to make good decisions, judgment, ability to manage the time, and ability to concentrate. It is difficult for students who drink alcohol during the academic phase to attend classes and make good grades. Serious health condition related to alcohol also leads to nutritional problems. Students might be not able to cope with the daily stress of college life. Thus, many of them will choose to drop out from school and college.

Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

Forgetting curve

Explanation:

Ebbinghaus invented the forgetting curve by using different ways of savings at various time intervals.  Ebbinghaus modern memory research began by using meaningless strings of letters to study the capacity of our memory system. The amount of previously saved letters decreases rapidly, but then reaches a plateau after which a decrease in percentage savings is minimal. We start by forgetting rapidly without practice and then at a certain point forgetting occurs a much lesser rate. With practice, the forgetting curve would look different.

valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

5) all of above

Explanation:

A subject's employment-related vulnerabilities refer to sensitive situations regarding an individual's employability. These vulnerabilities may refer to problems related to labor rights, wages, unions, labor pressures, unhealthy environment, among other factors that may make it difficult for a person to remain in employment. For this reason, we can state that when workers are invited to participate in a research study, the subject's employment-related vulnerabilities may include:

  • Unions may encourage employees to participate with the expectation that "entitlements" may follow from study results.
  • The research study's finding could affect an employee's pay, benefits, or promotion potential.
  • The employer may encourage or deny participation of workers.
  • Employees may experience pressure from management to participate in the study because the employer perceives the study to be advantageous to the organization.
