The first part of the question asks for how the area changes with changes to the length of the side. The area will grow exponentially with the change of the length of the side, more specifically, to the second power.
If the length is 2 the area is 4
If the length is 3 the area is 9
and so forth.

If the length of the side of the wafer, x, is 12 the area would be 12(12)= 144 squared millemeters

hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

\frac{1}{3} ft/min is the rate of changing of width

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

The area always remain constant i.2 2 square feet.

Height of the rectangle = 2 feet

Rate of changing of height = 6 feet per minute

Since area is constant

2 sq ft = (2 * 6) ft/min * 1 * x ft/min

x = \frac{1}{3} ft/min

An oblique prism with a square base of edge length x units has a volume of One-halfx3 cubic units. Which expression represents t
lara [203]

Answer:one-half x units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Prism has a square base with length x\ units

If the volume of prism V=\frac{1}{2}x^3\ units

We know

Volume=base\ area\times height

Base area =x\times x=x^2\ units

height=\frac{Volume}{area}

height=\frac{\frac{1}{2}x^3}{x^2}

height=\frac{x}{2}\ units
