Benjamin's response: None of the roots can have multiplicity because the polynomial is cubic and 3 roots are given. Write each root as a linear factor, then multiply the three factors to get the expression for the function.
I cannot see what mc001-1.jpg is, but i assume it is a complex number. so according to the irrational root theorem, if a + √b is a root of a polynomial equation where a and b are rational numbers and √b is an irrational number, then a - √b is also a root
the answer would be the complex number given with the opposite sign before √b.
if this doesn't help and you need more clarification, comment what mc001-1.jpg is and i'll be happy to help.
You'd have 25 6/8 yards of wire left because she took 3 yards from each spool. So that gives us 2 spools of 12 7/8 and when you add them you get 25 6/8.
