I believe it is because he made various reforms that led to many improvements for France.  A good example of this was education.  He reformed the educational system and established schools and colleges that enabled more people to avail of education.  He separated Church and state and did a host of other reforms that other monarchs would not.

If an online connection is not well established, most likely the person will not feel confident knowing the other person in person. Usually people tend to develop different personalities when they are chatting online, no matter how much the conversation is through videos and things like that, it is easier to see the person and their real "I" personally, this makes many people not feel confident in meet in person, because that virtual image that was created can be undone and not be real.
