<span>With the given information I have a chance at getting 100 heads. So I'm going to say that the probability of getting that 100 would be a fifty fifty chance. Not knowing exactly what the biases are I can't conclude a better answer. However if the circumstances are that the issues is wind or simply location then chances could be lower than fifty percent.</span>

Ivenika [448]

Answer:

A'(-2, 1), B'(1, 0), C'(-1, 0)

Step-by-step explanation:

Transformation is the movement of a point from its initial location to a new location. Types of transformation are rotation, reflection, dilation and translation.

If a point X(x, y) is translated a units right and b units down, the new location is X'(x + a, y + b) whereas if a point X(x, y) is translated a units left and b units up, the new location is X'(x - a, y - b).

If a point X(x, y) is rotated 90° clockwise about the origin, the new location is X'(y, -x)

From the image attached, ∆ABC is at A(0, 0), B(1,3) C(1, 1)

If ∆ABC is translated 2 units down and 1 unit to the left (x - 1, y - 2), the vertices would be A*(-1, -2), B*(0, 1), C*(0, -1)

If it is then rotated 90° clockwise about the origin, the new location is A'(-2, 1), B'(1, 0), C'(-1, 0)

What is the 8th term of the binomial expansion (x + y)10?
12345 [234]

We can use the Pascal's Triangle to solve this problem. This pascal's triangle is shown in the figure below. To build the triangle, begin with the number 1 at the top, then continue placing numbers below it in a triangular pattern. In this way, each number are the numbers directly above added together. So, the expression:

(x+y)^{10}

Can be extended as follows, for n = 10:

(x+y)^{10}=x^{10}+10x^{9}y+45x^{8}y^2+120x^{7}y^3+210x^{6}y^4+252x^{5}y^5+210x^{4}y^6+120x^{3}y^7+45x^{2}y^8+10xy^9+y^{10}

So, the 8th term of the binomial expansion is:

120x^{3}y^7

Quincy feeds his dog 2.75 cups food each day each cup of dog food costs $1.25. He multiplies the numbers together to determine h
Flura [38]

2times1 because 2.75 take the 75 off and 1.25 take the 25 off so you multiply 2 and 1 so 2times1 equals 2

In a data set with a range of 55.4 to 105.4 and 400 observations, there are 176 observations with values less than 86. Find the
IrinaVladis [17]

<u>ANSWER: </u>

In a data set with a range of 55.4 to 105.4 and 400 observations.86 lies in the 49th percentile.

<u>SOLUTION: </u>

Given, in a data set with a range of 55.4 to 105.4 and 400 observations.

There are 176 observations below the value of 86, and we need to find the percentile for 86.

We know that, percentile formula = \frac{\text {number of observations below the required number}}{\text {total number of observations}} \times 100

Percentile of 86 = \frac{176}{400} \times 100

Since, we cancelled 400 with 100 we get 4 , hence above expression becomes,

=\frac{176}{4} = 49

So, percentile of 86 = 49

Hence, 86 lies in the 49th percentile.

Fill in the blanks. a. A relative-frequency distribution is to a variable as a __________ distribution is to a random variable
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

a. A relative-frequency distribution is to a variable as a ___probability_______ distribution is to a random variable. b. A relative-frequency histogram is to a variable as a _____probability_____ histogram is to a random variable.

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability is a type of mathematics which deals with numerical descriptions of how likely an event would occur, or how likely it is that a the occurrence would be true. The probability of an event is usually between 0 and 1,

where 0 represent impossibility and 1 represents the chance of it occurring.
