A because you are only spinning it 40 time and you only have two options.

Answer:

It is given that , Four spinners with distinct sections of equal area are spun 40 times.

We want, theoretical Probability should be equal to experimental probability.

The Spinner with least Division and maximum number of Spun will produce result equivalent to Theoretical probability.

Here , in the problem there are four spinners, one having 2 cross sections, second having 5 cross sections, third having 8 section, and fourth having 10 section.

So, Minimum number of Section is in Spinner A , which is equal to 2, probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{2}, Spinner having 5 cross sections,probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{5},third spinner, having 8 section,probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{8},fourth spinner having 10 section, probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{10},.

To get the result that is experimental probability equal to theoretical probability, the number of trials should be as large as possible to get the result equal to theoretical probability.

Option A: a spinner with 2 sections , is most appropriate choice among four options.

A home’s value increases at an average rate of 5.5% each year. The current value is $120,000. What function can be used to find
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

y=120,000(1.055)^x

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The equation of a exponential growth function is given by

y=a(1+r)^x

where

y is the value of the home

x is the number of years

a is the initial value

r is the rate of change

we have

a=\$120,000\\r=5.5\%=5.5/100=0.055

substitute

y=120,000(1+0.055)^x

y=120,000(1.055)^x

A pair of fair dice is cast. what is the probabiliy that the sum of the numbers falling uppermost is 9, given that at least one
WITCHER [35]
If a pair of fair dice is cast, the probability that the <span>sum of the numbers falling uppermost is 9, given that at least one of the numbers falling uppermost is a 3 is given by:

\frac{P(sum\, of\, 9\, \cup\,3)}{P(3)}

The number of outcomes of sum of 9 where at last one is 3 is (3, 6) and (6, 3) = 2.

</span>The number of outcomes of last one of the numbers falling uppermost is a 3 is (3, 1), (3, 2), (3, 3), (3, 4), (3, 5), (3, 6), (1, 3), (2, 3), (4, 3), (5, 3) and (6, 3) = 11.

Therefore, <span>the probabiliy that the sum of the numbers falling uppermost is 9, given that at least one of the numbers falling uppermost is a 3 is 2 / 11.</span>

Suppose that in a survey of 1,000 U.S. residents, 721 residents believed that the amount of violent television programming had i
Art [367]

Answer: 0.813

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A be the event describes the number of residents believed that the amount of violent television programming had increased over the past 10 years.

& B be the event describes the number of residents believed that the amount of violent television programming had decreased over the past 10 years.

Given : n(A)=721   ;  n(B)=454  ;  n(A∩B)=362

We know that ,

n(A\cup B)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A\cap B)

i.e. n(A\cup B)=721+454-362=813

Also, the total number of U.S. residents surveyed n(S)= 1,000

Then, the  proportion of the 1,000 U.S. residents believed that either the amount of violent programming had increased or the overall quality of programming had decreased over the past 10 years will be :-

P(A\cup B)=\dfrac{n(A\cup B)}{n(S)}=\dfrac{813}{1000}=0.813

Hence, the required answer = 0.813

Simplify 2(3×8-15÷16)<br>
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

46.125 or 46 1/8

Step-by-step explanation:

2(3×8-15÷16)

=2(24-15÷16)

= 48 - 30/16

= (768 - 30)/16

= 738/16

= 46.125 or 46 1/8

Find the 89th term of 25,35,45
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

The 89th term would be 895.

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a pattern of adding 10 each time. Notice that the 5 at the end doesn't change and that the first number continues (i.e. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). All you have to do is add an 89 in front of the 5 and that is your answer, 895.
