A because you are only spinning it 40 time and you only have two options.

Answer:

It is given that , Four spinners with distinct sections of equal area are spun 40 times.

We want, theoretical Probability should be equal to experimental probability.

The Spinner with least Division and maximum number of Spun will produce result equivalent to Theoretical probability.

Here , in the problem there are four spinners, one having 2 cross sections, second having 5 cross sections, third having 8 section, and fourth having 10 section.

So, Minimum number of Section is in Spinner A , which is equal to 2, probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{2}, Spinner having 5 cross sections,probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{5},third spinner, having 8 section,probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{8},fourth spinner having 10 section, probability of each section being equal to \frac{1}{10},.

To get the result that is experimental probability equal to theoretical probability, the number of trials should be as large as possible to get the result equal to theoretical probability.

Option A: a spinner with 2 sections , is most appropriate choice among four options.

Celia bought a bag of 121212 goldfish for \$3$3dollar sign, 3.
muminat

Celia bought a bag of 12 goldfish for $3,  Cost of 1 goldfish is $0.25 .

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

The goldfish is a freshwater fish in the family Cyprinidae of order Cypriniformes. It is one of the most commonly kept aquarium fish. A relatively small member of the carp family, the goldfish is native to East Asia.

Here we have , Celia bought a bag of 12 goldfish for $3 . We need to find the cost of 1 goldfish . Let's find out:

Celia have a bag of 12 goldfish which cost her $3 . So , cost of 1 goldfish is equivalent to

⇒ (1)\frac{12}{3}

⇒ (1)\frac{3(4)}{3}

⇒ \frac{1}{4}

⇒ 0.25

Therefore, Celia bought a bag of 12 goldfish for $3  , Cost of 1 goldfish is $0.25 .

On her first day in a hospital, Kiri receives u1 milligrams (mg) of a therapeutic drug. The amount of the drug Kiri receives inc
Valentin [98]

Answer:

a. 21 = u1 + 6·d

b. 29 = u1 + 10·d

c. d = 2, u1 = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

a. The given parameters are;

The amount of therapeutic drug Kiri receives on her first at the hospital = u1 milligrams

The amount of drug increase received by Kiri each day = d

The amount of drug Kiri received on the seventh day = 21 mg

The amount of drug she received on the eleventh day = 29 mg

Therefore, we have an arithmetic progression with the formula for the nth term given as follows;

aₙ = a₁ + (n - 1)·d

Where;

a₁ = u1

n = The number of terms

Therefore, for the 7th day, the amount of drugs she receives, which is 21 milligrams, is given as follows;

a₇ = u1 + (7 - 1)·d = u1 + 6·d = 21

The equation for the amount of drugs she receives in terms of u1 and d on the seventh day is given as follows;

21 = u1 + 6·d

b. For the eleventh day, the amount of drugs she receives, which is 29 milligrams, is given as follows;

a₁₁ = u1 + (11 - 1)·d = u1 + 10·d = 29

Therefore, the equation for the amount of drugs she receives in terms of u1 and d on the  eleventh day is given as follows;

29 = u1 + 10·d

c. Therefore, we have two equations which are given as follows;

21 = u1 + 6·d................(1)

29 = u1 + 10·d..............(2)

Subtracting equation (1) from equation (2) gives;

29 - 21 = (u1 + 10·d) - (u1 + 6·d)

8 = 4·d

d = 8/4 = 2

d = 2

From equation (1), we have;

21 = u1 + 6·d = u1 + 6×2 = u1 + 12

21 = u1 + 12

21 - 12 = u1

∴ u1 = 9

d = 2, u1 = 9.

L = loudness, in decibels (dB); I = sound intensity, in watts/m2; I0 = 10−12 watts/m2
irina [24]
The sound intensity of the Pile Driver is 39.5
 or nearly 40 times the sound intensity of the jackhammer.

Given with Loudness in dB for pile driver = 112 dB
We have to convert it in terms of sound intensity.
First,
112dB/10 = 11.2

Then we'll use this as exponent of 10
(10)^(11.2) = 1.5849 * 10 ^ 11

Then use the equation of Watts per square meter to find the intensity:
I / (10^-12 W/m^2) =1.5849 * 10 ^ 11
I = sound intensity = 0.158

Then compare:

Sound intensity of Pile Driver/ Sound intensity of Jackhammer
(0.158) / (0.004)
= 39.5
or nearly 40 times the jackhammer.

the diagonal length of a square window is 40 cm. find the area of the window. Btw any help is appreciated ! :)
7nadin3 [17]
Ok so area is length times width. A square has the same sides all around, which is called a quadrilateral. So you would plug in 40 for length and width. 40x40= 1,600 cm^2 <———— is your answer.

Hope this helped :)

How do you write 4540 million in standard form?
vovangra [49]
For this case what we should do is take into account the following conversion:
 million = 10 ^ 6&#10;
 We then have the following number:
 4540 million&#10;
 Applying the given conversion we have:
 4540 * 10 ^ 6&#10;
 By doing the corresponding calculation we have that the standard form is given by:
 4540 * 10 ^ 6 = 4,540,000,000&#10;
 Answer:

4540 million in standard form is:

4,540,000,000
