Just add them all:(FYI, I first converted all the mixed fraction to improper)
11/3+19/3= 30/3+9/2
Now take out the LCM,
60/6+27/6= 87/6
Hence, the total number of cups that peter makes is 87/6

Answer:

12\frac{1}{6} cups of punch

Step-by-step explanation:

Peter is making a punch. He mixes :

Orange juice  =  4\frac{1}{2} cups

Ginger ale   =    1\frac{1}{3}

Strawberry lemonade =  6\frac{1}{3}

Now we will add all the mixes

4\frac{1}{2} +  1\frac{1}{3} +  6\frac{1}{3}

Now first we convert all the mixed fractions to improper.

\frac{9}{2}+ \frac{4}{3}+ \frac{19}{3}

Now take LCM of 2,3,3 = 6

= \frac{27+8+38}{6}

= \frac{73}{6} =  12\frac{1}{6}

The total number of cups of puch that peter makes is  12\frac{1}{6}

svlad2 [7]

Answer:

P(t) = 10t - 400

Step-by-step explanation:

Selling price of each ticket = $10

Cost of setting up the dance= $400

Profit = Revenue - cost

Revenue = price × quantity

Revenue that will maximize profit = 10t

where t= quantity of tickets that maximises profits

Cost = $400

Profit(t) = Revenue - cost

P(t)= 10t - 400

In the rectangular prism below, the length of MR is 8 inches, the length of RS is 9 inches, and the length of ST is 12 inches.
Sever21 [200]
Unfortunately, there's no diagram here!  But the prism is described as "rectangular."  Thus, the volume is simply (length)(width)(height) cubic inches.  Multiply: (8 inches)(9 inches)(12 inches).
