Sweating and panting are two processes which are responsible for maintaining thermoregulation in the body. Thermoregulation maintains necessary heat energy in the body. Sweating is a process of removal of water from the body as a result of hot weather conditions. Loss of water occurs from skin. This water when comes in contact of air gives an affect of coolness, hence, keep the body cool in hot climate.

Panting is a process of loss of water in evaporation from the moist lining of the oral cavity and pharynx as a method of temperature regulation in the body.
