Answer:

1) Has a rocky, metallic composition -Both

2) Experiences retrograde rotation, spinning clockwise as viewed from above- Venus

3)Experiences the greenhouse effect, which warms the planet - Both

4) Is the densest planet in the solar system - Earth

5) Is located an ideal distance from the Sun, allowing it to support life -Earth

6) Is one of the brightest objects in the night sky, sometimes mistaken for a star-Venus

Explanation:

Venus and Earth are terrestrial planets. They have rocky surface. Venus is characterized by a very thick atmosphere which traps the sun light and makes it the hottest planet of the solar system. Greenhouse effect warms both the planets.

Earth is the only planet on which life exists. It is located at ideal distance from the Sun which helps to maintain sustainable conditions -temperature to support life on it. Venus is known as morning and evening star as it is the brightest objects.

Earth is the densest planet of the solar system having density 5.51 g/cm³. Venus experiences retrograde rotation due to the tilt of its axis (177.3°). Due to this tilt it appears to rotate in opposite direction than other planets.

1). both

2). Venus

3). Venus catastrophically; Earth too but much less.

4). Earth

5). Earth

6). Venus (It would be pretty hard for US to mistake Earth for a star.)

prisoha [69]

Answer:

The water will flow at a speed of 3,884 m/s

Explanation:

Torricelli's equation

v = \sqrt{2gh}

*v = liquid velocity at the exit of the hole

g = gravity acceleration

h = distance from the surface of the liquid to the center of the hole.

v = \sqrt{2*9,8m/s^2*0,77m} = 3,884 m/s

Cindy exerts a force of 40 newtons and moves a chair 6 meters. Her brother Andy pushes a different chair for 6 meters while exer
sesenic [268]
Work formula:
W = F * d
F 1 = 40 N, d 1 = 6 m;
F 2 = 30 N; d 2 = 6 m.
W ( Cindy ) = 40 * 6 = 240 Nm
W ( Andy ) = 30 * 6 = 180 Nm
The difference of their amounts if work:
240 Nm - 180  Nm = 60 nm

hope it helps!

A clothes dryer in a home has a power of 4,500 watts and runs on a special 220-volt household circuit,
ladessa [460]

1).  Power = (voltage)² / (Resistance)

     4,500 = (220)² / Resistance

Multiply each side by (resistance) :  4,500 x resistance = (220)²

Divide each side by  4,500 :            Resistance  =  (220)² / 4,500 = 10.76 ohms

2).  Power = (voltage) x (Current)

Divide each side by (voltage): Power / voltage = Current

                                            4,500 / 220  =  20.45 Amperes

3).  4,500 watts = 4.5 kilowatts

     (4.5 kilowatts) x (4 hours)  =  18 kilowatt-hours

arlik [135]
The working equation for this one is:

E = F/Q, where E is the strength of the electric field, F is the electric force and Q is the charge. Substituting the corresponding values, the strength of the electric field is equal to

E = -30 nN/-3 nC
E = 10 nN/nC

750 million years ago, there was enough Uranium-235 present in Oklo, Gabon to have a natural fission reactor occur and generate
Komok [63]
With a half-life of 700 million years, U-235 would have had twice as much mass at a time 700 MYA. This would have put the mass at 100kg at that time. Going back another 50 million years would be (50/700) or 1/14 of the half-life, or (1/2 * 1/14), or 1/28 of the total mass. 1/28 of 100kg is 3.57kg, so the amount present at the 750MYA mark would be approximately 103.57kg of U-235.
