The fact that could be included in Japan's column is the one that states that "there were excelent harbors on the Pacific Coast", since all the other options refer to facts that don't match with Japan's history:

-It never had colonies in Egypt nor India.

-It didn't establish diamond-mining companies in South Africa.

-It never used the Atlantic to sail to any colonies, as its expansion went into mainland Asia, not overseas.

nata0808 [166]

Answer: A) no damages from the driver

Explanation:

CONTRIBUTORY NEGLIGENCE is a defence where a person is ruled to have contributed to whatever injury there may have sustained in the matter at hand, through their own negligence.

When this happens, the plaintiff is COMPLETELY BARRED from receiving any form of compensation from the Defense.

This is a particularly harsh doctrine that has been abolished in many Common Law countries who instead now follow the COMPARATIVE NEGLIGENCE approach where the Plaintiff's claim is reduced by the percentage they contributed to the accident. In this case their claim would be reduced by 20% leading to $80,000 being paid by the Defendant.

katovenus [111]
Geographic location is definitely one of those factors. I live in Europe, and have lived there my entire life, as my parents have before me, and their ancestors, so I believe that those people who decided to move here in Europe would definitely do that because of the location. I am surrounded by many important European countries and my country itself has an abundance of everything.

This takes me to the second reason, which are the resources - my country is rich in many natural resources, which my ancestors would definitely want to have around because where there are resources, there are jobs and life in general.

Dima020 [189]

Answer:

This is an example of letter A. trait-anxiety.

Explanation:

Trait-anxiety is a stable tendency that is a part of one's personality. Trait-anxious people are frequently reporting feelings of worries, anxiety, and fears, even in situations that do not make others report such feelings.

According to the information given in the question, Kaito has never considered himself to be a people person. He is nervous about presenting his business propositions and about how to successfully communicate with his peers. This is a case of trait-anxiety, because his negative emotions come from a tendency he already has. It is not about this specific situation only, but about his not being a people person. Kaito certainly has repeated feelings of worries, fears, and anxiety that manifest in situations that wouldn't normally provoke them in other people. Kaito sees environmental stimuli - such as communicating - as threatening.
