While the process of globalization can be positive in many ways, it also has its drawbacks.

These include: extreme benefits for the rich and drawbacks for the poor, the removal of jobs from developed nations (economically stable) into developing nations (less economically stable), large companies escaping taxes by moving to developing countries, threats to workers in developed countries of pay cuts, stolen technology, inhumane/unfair/unethical working conditions, and/or using prisoners or children for labor.

Answer:

When the process of globalization creates a connected global village, one consequence is that jobs can move easily from one country to another. As a result, employees in some countries may lose their jobs to employees elsewhere. In addition, corporations may have more power and may become less restricted, which could help these corporations grow and increase trade. However, they may also make decisions that hurt other countries, and they may not have the accountability they need. Another possible consequence is a loss of cultural diversity as cultures blend together. Unique cultures may be overwhelmed by cultures from neighboring countries. Finally, while globalization helps to spread positive and creative ideas, it can also help to spread destructive and dangerous behavior from place to place.

Amiraneli [1.4K]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although you forgot to attach the options for this question we can say the following.

Motivated by the desire to live an idyllic life, people who are part of utopian movements may retreat from the larger society and form their own communities with like-minded others.

In their utopic ideas, these people create "fantasy worlds" in which they live and practically retreat from the everyday world.

The goal of many utopian societies was to create self-sufficient communities where people could have similar goals and live out their ideal beliefs."

These utopian movements started in the 1800s, during the Second Great Awakening. Many people considered utopian societies as the possibility to have a perfect or ideal society in which people could prosper, live happily with no problems, and tolerating differences. People soon realized that these futuristic societies or perfect societies were out of reach and hard to accomplish.

Vygotsky would say Latoya is "Using private speech to organize and regulate her thinking."

Vygotsky (1987) was the primary psychologist to report the significance of private speech. He considered private speech as the progress point amongst social and internal discourse, the moment being developed where dialect and thought join to constitute verbal reasoning.

Millie feels sick every time she travels by air. She associates flying with physical illness and, as a result, hates air travel.
Roman55 [17]

Answer: The correct answer is B) Classical Conditioning

Explanation: Classical Conditioning is learning through association.

If someone when flying in an airplane has experienced certain negative stimuli repeatedly then he/she would associate flying with negative responses.

For instance: Flying in an airplane (Neutral stimulus)

Is paired with:  Unconditioned Stimulus (Eating spoiled food) which in turn elicits an unconditioned response (Puking, feeling ill).

Then, the neutral stimulus transforms into a Conditionated stimulus which elicits a conditionated response.

That's called Classical Conditioning.
