The finance team of an organization has prepared an end of quarter balance sheet. The stockholders equity amount is a negative value. What must be true in this situation? D. The organizations liabilities are greater than the assets. Stockholders equity is also known to many as shareholders equity. This is listed on the companies balance sheet and includes the total assets and the total liabilities subtracted then equals stockholder's equity. Since you subtract the liabilties from the assets, if there is a negative value then the liabilities are greater than the assets.

Lapatulllka [165]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you did not include the name of the two labor organizations. There is no further context, reference, text, or article.

However, trying to help you we can comment on the following.

Probably, you are referring to the Ontario Federation of Labor (OFL) and the Ontario Public ServiceEmployees Union (OPSEU).

If that is the case, we say that these two labor organizations have a major role in supporting the employees of Tim Horton's branches, after the response, they have taken in Ontario regarding the increase of the minimum wage in that Canadian province.

The power of these labor organizations created awareness of the employee's situation when different media channels covered the news about the demonstrations. This coverage was nationwide, alerting all Canadians about the situation in some branches of this famous and cherished Canadian fast-food restaurant.

This situation does not only grab the attention of public opinion but from the government and political parties that can get into the discussion, affecting the public image and reputation of Tim Horton.

Answer:

focused cost leadership

Explanation:

A focused plan for cost management needs price-based rivalry to same a limited sector. A business that implements this approach will not automatically offer the industry's cheapest prices. Rather it pays low prices in competition with other firms that operate within the intended audience.

An crucial point in these techniques is that the essence of the small target audience differs throughout firms using a focused approach of cost management.

In some instances, demographics define the target group. Thus, from the above we can conclude that the correct option is B.

Direct Materials                                     $3.40

Direct Labor                                           8.00

Variable manufacturing overhead          8.50

Supervisor's salary                                  3.90

Total Avoidable Cost                              $23.8

Note: Depreciation is a sunk cost and not relevant for decision making.

General Fixed Overhead will remain the same irrespective of decision. Hence, not relevant for decision making.

Evaluation of offer:

Loss on Sale from outside supplier (26.70-23.8)*15,500          $(44,950)

Additional Segment Margin earned                                          $27,500

Financial Advantage/(Disadvantage)                                          $(17,450)

Hence, annual financial disadvantage for the company as a result of buying part U16 from the outside supplier = $17,450
