Two parallel lines are crossed by a transversal. Parallel lines x and y are cut by transversal w. On line x where it intersects

with line w, 4 angles are created. Labeled clockwise, from uppercase left, the angles are: 2, 4, 3, 1. On line y where it intersects with line w, 4 angles are created. Labeled clockwise, from uppercase left, the angles are: 6, 8, 7, 5. If mAngle1=61.8°, then what is the measure of mAngle6? 61.8° 81.8° 118.2° 128.2°

Answer:

118.2°

Step-by-step explanation:

Two parallel lines x and y are cut by transversal w (see attached diagram).

8 angles (named 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) are formed.

Angles 1 and 6 are the same side angles when two parallel lines x and y are cut by transversal w.

Two same side angles are supplementary (add up to 180°). This means

m\angle 1+m\angle 6=180^{\circ}

Given m\angle 1=61.8^{\circ}, so

m\angle 6=180^{\circ}-61.8^{\circ}=118.2^{\circ}

A frequency distribution is a tabular summary of data showing the a. number of items in several classes. b. relative percentage
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

The answer is a: Number of items in several classes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Frequency distributions are tables that represent the number of times a specific data, number object etc appears in a sample. So for example if we have this data

2,2,4,4,6,6,6,8,8,10

The frequency distributions is

Number frequency

2 2

4 2

6 3

8 2

10 1

The other options are identical (c and are the same as percentages can be expressed as fractions. Relative percentages or fractions are tables that express the weight that each category has in the entire data. An example for our data would be: (10 are the total number of obs)

Number Fraction/%

2 2/10 or 20%

4 2/10 or 20%

6 3/10 or 30%

8 2/10 or 20%

10 1/10 or 10%

What property was used on 14k+2(3k+5)-5=10 to obtain 14k+6k+10-5=10
ohaa [14]
The difference between

i) 14k+2(3k+5)-5=10 and

ii) 14k+6k+10-5=10

is the equality 2(3k+5)=6k+10

The property used here, can be described for any numbers a, b and c as:

a \cdot (b+c)=a \cdot b +a \cdot c

This is called the DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY
