Step-by-step explanation:

1)X represents the time he spent in cardio.

Y represents the time he spent in weighted.

2)If you could put the options on the second one it would be better.

3)4x+y=210

3x+2y=195

y=210-4x

3x+2(210-4x)=195

3x+420-8x=195

5x=420-195

5x=225

x=45

y=30

Total time of one cardi and weighted = 75min= 5/4 h.

4)2x+4y=

90+120=210 total time of week three.

Now Cathy is three times as old as Katie. In six years Cathy will be only twice as old as Katie. How old is each girl now?
BabaBlast [244]
Katie is 6; Cathy is 18!

X- Katie’s age now and 3x -Cathys age now
In 6 years, Katie is 12 and Cathy is 24.

2 x (X+6) = 3x + 6
2x + 12 = 3x + 6
6 = x

gregori [183]
The answer is D. 140 cm². I think the circumference of the balloon means the circumference of the biggest circle. So the 21=2πr². While the surface area of a sphere is S=4πr². So the S≈140 cm².
