Answer:

Hinduism has prevented modern social mobility through its caste system.

Explanation:

India's caste system is an important social division in Hindu society, not just in India, but in Nepal and other Hindu countries and populations. Although generally identified with Hinduism, the caste system has also been observed among followers of other religions in the Indian subcontinent, including some groups of Muslims and Christians. The Indian Constitution rejects caste-based discrimination in line with the democratic and secular principles that founded the nation. Caste barriers no longer exist in large cities, but persist mainly in rural areas.

Caste is defined as hereditary social group, in which the condition of the individual passes from father to son. The group is endogenous, that is, each member can only marry people from their own group.

The groups are:

-the Brahmins (priests and literates) were born from Brahma's head;

-the Shariahs (warriors) were born from Brahma's arms;

-the váshas (merchants) were born from Brahma's legs;

-the sudras (servants: peasants, artisans, and workers) were born from Brahma's feet.

On the fringes of this social structure were the Dalits, who came from the dust under Brahma's foot. Better known as outcasts, without caste, they were considered to be the most attracted to all castes. Today they are called haridchens, haryens, dalit, or untouchables. Over time, there were hundreds of subdivisions, which do not stop multiplying.

kifflom [539]

Answer:

availability bias

Explanation:

Also known as the availability heuristic, the availability bias describes a mental shortcut and error in thinking that bases judgements and decisions on available or immediate examples that come to a given person's mind when evaluating a specific topic, concept, method or decision. Such as the manager does above when he believes an employee has exhibited the worst behaviour the company has ever seen because it is only recent and it is "an immediate example".

Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

The birth of a baby causes stress, increased responsibility and even sleep deprivation. Which makes new parents unhappy about many points in their lives, including marriage.

Explanation:

The arrival of a baby is accompanied by difficult and stressful days. The baby increases the responsibility of the new parents who, besides having to take care of the baby, need to take care of the house, the housework, work, pay bills, among other things. Stress at this time can take high levels and make parents sad, tired and unhappy with their lives. All this trouble and tiredness begins to take hold of many areas in the life of new parents, including marriage. Therefore we can say that it is not uncommon that many parents are not content with marriage three years after the birth of the baby.

If old mountains wear down over the course of millions of years, what is one of the primary reasons that mountains still exist?
Marat540 [252]

The correct answer is: C) New mountains are created through tectonic and volcanic activity.

There are three ways in which mountains are formed, therefore there are three different types of mountains: volcanic, fold and block mountains.

It is important to say that these always involve plate tectonics, were huge "compressional forces, isostatic uplift and igneous (magma) matter, forces surface rock upward". In this way a landform higer than the surroundings is created, that is to say: a mountain.

There is no way a mountain is created by one of the other options given.
