The answer would be D. The mean will be 10 points higher. The question said that the quiz score changed from a 79 to an 89 which is exactly 10 points higher than the previous score. I hope this answer helps. :)

A cake has a mass of 2.5kg. It contains 275g of fruit. What percentage of fruit is there in the cake
Travka [436]
The answer is:  "11 %" .
__________________________________
There is 11% of fruit in the cake.
______________________________
Explanation:
____________________________________

275g is what percent of 2.5 kg?

First, convert "275 g" into "kg".

Note the exact conversion:  1000 g = 1 kg .

So 275 g = (275/1000) kg  = 0.275 kg .

0.275 kg = (n/100) * 2.5 kg ;

→ (n/100) * 2.5 = 0.275 ;
____________________________
Divide each side by "(2.5)"
______________________
→ (n/100) = (0.275) / (2.5) ;

→ (n/100) = 0.11 ;

Multiply each side by "100" ;

n = 11 .

The answer is:  11 % .

Find FL if H is the circumcenter of EFG,
Zanzabum

The artistic crop isn't helpful; it cuts off some vertex names.

The circumcenter H is the meet of the perpendicular bisectors of the sides, helpfully drawn.  We have right triangle ELH, right angle L, so

EH² = HL² + EL²

EL = √(EH² - HL²) = √(5.06²-2.74²) ≈ 4.2539393507665339

Since HL is a perpendicular bisector of EF, we get congruent segments FL=EL.

Sarah received \$55$55dollar sign, 55 for her birthday. She used some of that money to buy 333 shirts priced at mmm dollars each
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

$(55-3m) is the amount of money she has left

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we are asked to give an expression to represent how much money was left after Sarah had bought some certain stuffs at some prices using the money she received at her birthday.

Firstly, we identify that the total amount of money she has to spend is $55.

Now let’s project her total spendings. She bought 3 shirts with each shirt costing $m.

The total amount spent on the shirts is thus; 3 * $m = $3m

The amount of money she has left is the difference.

Mathematically, this is equal to $55 - $3m
