Answer

Each box have 10 number of food items and all the items in the box will be the same type

Explanation

It is given that,

A food bank has 50 cans of vegetables,

30 loaves of bread, and 100 bottles of water.

The volunteers will put the items into boxes.

The conditions are Each box will have the same number of food items and all the items in the box will be the same type.

So we have to find the HCF of 50,30 and 100

HCF ( 50, 30, 100) = 10

Each box will have the same 10 food items

The second condition says that, all the items in the box will be the same type.

So, 50 cans of vegetables, can be put into 5 boxes with 10 numbers each

30 loaves of bread can be put into 3 boxes with 10 numbers each and

100 bottles of water can be put into 10 boxes with 10 numbers each and

Therefore each box have 10 number of food items and all the items in the box will be the same type

A recipe calls for 2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, and 4 tsp of garlic powder. How much pepper and garlic powder would you need
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

amount of pepper required= 7.5 tsp

amount of garlic powder required = 30 tsp

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

amount of salt used for small batch of the recipe = 2 tsp

amount of pepper used for small batch of the recipe = 1 tsp

amount of garlic powder used for small batch of the recipe = 4 tsp

amount of salt used for the larger batch = 15 tsp

                                                             = 2 x 7.5 tsp

= amount of salt used for small batch the recipe x 7.5

So,

the amount of pepper needed for the larger batch= 7.5 x amount of pepper used for the small batch of recipe

                                                                      = 7.5 x 1 tsp

                                                                       = 7.5 tsp

the amount of garlic powder needed for the larger batch= 7.5 x amount of garlic powder used for the small batch of recipe

                                                                                          = 7.5 x 4 tsp

                                                                                          = 30 tsp

The general form of the equation of a circle is x2 + y2 + 42x + 38y − 47 = 0. The equation of this circle in standard form is (x
DaniilM [7]
We have the following equation:
x2 + y2 + 42x + 38y - 47 = 0
We rewrite the equation:
x2 + 42x + y2 + 38y - 47 = 0
x2 + 42x + y2 + 38y = 47
Rewriting we have:
x2 + 42x + (42/2) ^ 2 + y2 + 38y + (38/2) ^ 2 = 47 + (42/2) ^ 2 + (38/2) ^ 2
x2 + 42x + 441 + y2 + 38y + 361 = 47 + 441 + 361
Rewriting we have:
(x + 21) ^ 2 + (y + 19) ^ 2 = 849
The center of the circle is:
(x, y) = (-21, -19)
The radio is:
r = root (849)
r = (849) ^ 2

A circle of the same radius is given by:
x ^ 2 + y ^ 2 - 50x - 30y + 1 = 0
Let's check:
x ^ 2 - 50x + y ^ 2 - 30y + 1 = 0
x ^ 2 - 50x + y ^ 2 - 30y = - 1
x ^ 2 - 50x + (-50/2) ^ 2 + y ^ 2 - 30y + (-30/2) ^ 2 = - 1 + (-30/2) ^ 2 + (-50/2) ^ 2
x ^ 2 - 50x + (-50/2) ^ 2 + y ^ 2 - 30y + (-30/2) ^ 2 = - 1 + 225 + 625
(x-25) ^ 2 + (y-15) ^ 2 = 849
Answer:

(x + 21) ^ 2 + (y + 19) ^ 2 = 849

(x, y) = (-21, -19)

r = (849) ^ 2

x ^ 2 + y ^ 2 - 50x - 30y + 1 = 0
