In this question there are several important information's worth noting.Based on these information's the answer can be easily found. It is given that the total capacity of the tank is 24000 gallons. in 24 hours or in 1 day the amount of water used is 650 gallons. The question requires us to find the time it will take to use 2/3 rd of the water in the tank.
then
2/3 rd water in respect to total water in tank = (2/3) * 24000
                                                                       = 16000
So 2/3 rd water of full tank is equivalent to 16000 gallons.
Now
650 gallons of water is used in = 24 hours
So
16000 gallons of water will be used in = (24/650) * 16000
                                                             = 590.77 hours
So it will take 590.77 hours to consume 2/3rd of the total water present in the tank.

Answer:

A. True

Step-by-step explanation:

The Triangle Inequality Theorem says that the sum of any two sides must be greater than the third side. Let's see if this is true.

a + b

9 + 1 = 10>9

a + c

9 + 9 = 18>1

c + b

9 + 1 = 10>9

The system shown has the unique solution (2, y, z). Solve the system and select the values that complete the solution. y = 0 y =
madreJ [45]
So we are given a system:
3x-2y+3z=0\\
-3x - 5y - 5z= -21
Substitute x = 2 we get the system:
-2y+3z=-6\\
- 5y - 5z= -15
Multiply the first equation by -5 and the second by 2 we get the system:
10y-15z=30\\
- 10y - 10z= -30
Adding the two equations we get :
-25z=0\text{ then}z=0.
We find the value of y by using any of the other equations like this:
-2y=-6\\y=3.
Final solution:
z=0,y=3

To go on the class trip, chang needs at least $125. he has saved $45, and he makes $7 an hour at his job. what is the minimum nu
Murljashka [212]
The total amount that Chang will received from his wages is the product of his hourly wage times the number of hours he has worked (n). His total savings should not be less than $125. The equation that best describes the situation is,
                                    45 + 7n ≥ 125
Solving for n in the inequality gives an answer of n≥11.42 hours. Thus, he needs to work for at least 12 hours.
