If a slamming door is a conditioned stimulus, then being able to distinguish between the sound of a slamming door and the sound of a heavy item being dropped would represent stimulus discrimination.
Stimulus discrimination is when respond and react differently to two or more similar stimulus. Slamming the door and heavy item being dropped are similar stimulus. Being able to distinguish them according their sound is reacting different to both of them , so this is a stimulus discrimination.

MrMuchimi

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

Independent variable: Type of drug (Mem-Reen or placebo)

Dependent variable: memories

Experimental group: The group that was given Mem-Reen

Control group: The group that was given placebo

Constants: Food, hours of sleep, memory test procedures.

The independent variable is an input variable that produces effects on the dependent variable. As the variable is changed, it produces different effects on the dependent variable.

The dependent variable is the actual variable that is measured during an experiment. It is the main purpose of setting-up of an experiment.

The experimental group is also referred to as the treatment group while the control group is the group that does not receive treatment at all or they receive fake treatment/placebo.

Constants are unchanging variables included in experiments. They remain unchanged both in the treatment and the control group, otherwise, the outcome of the experiment will be unreliable.

Julia jumps straight upward on mars, where the acceleration due to gravity is 3.7\,\dfrac{\text{m}}{\text{s}^2}3.7 s 2 m 3, po
liberstina [14]

We know the equation of motion v = u+ at, where v is the final velocity, u is the initial velocity, a is the acceleration and t is the time taken.

In this case Final velocity = -3.1 m/s, negative sign indicates it is pointing downward.

acceleration = - 3.7m/s^2 . Negative means acceleration is towards center of planet Mars.

Time taken = 3 seconds

v = u + at\\ \\-3.1 = u-3.7*3\\ \\u = 8 m/s

So jumping velocity of Julia = 8 m/s

A force of 6.0 N pulls a box 0.40 m along a frictionless plane that is inclined at 36°. What work is being done by the pulling f
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

Expression of work done is

W = Fd cos\theta

Work done to move the sled is given as 1.94 J

Explanation:

As we know that the formula of work done is given as

W = Fd cos\theta

here we know that

F = 6 N

d = 0.4 m

\theta = 36 degree

so we will have

W = 6 \times 0.4 cos36

W = 1.94 J
