We know there is 330 mg of caffeine per 16-ounce serving. So if we want 8-ounce servings:
330 mg : 2 = 165 mg
Also we have to consume a maximum of 600 mg.
165 mg * 3 = 495 mg < 600 mg
165 mg * 4 = 660 mg > 600 mg
Answer: Someone could drink 3 full 8-ounce servings in a day and still stay below the limit.

ad-work [718]

Answer:

10.99%.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that the Smiths bought new furniture that cost $3,298.00. The store offered them  an option of putting $600 down and making equal payments of $300 a month  for 10 months.

First of all, we will find amount paid by down-payments in 10 months.

\$300\times 10=\$3,000

Total amount paid by Smiths: \$3,000+\$600=\$3,600.

Now we will find amount paid in interest by subtracting initial amount from total amount.

\text{Amount paid in interest}=\$3,600-\$3,298

\text{Amount paid in interest}=\$302

10 months = 10/12 year =5/6 year.

Now, we will use simple interest formula to solve for interest rate.

I=Prt

\$302=\$3,298*r*\frac{5}{6}

\$302=r*\frac{\$16,490}{6}

\$302*\frac{6}{\$16,490}=r*\frac{\$16,490}{6}*\frac{6}{\$16,490}

\frac{1,812}{\$16,490}=r

r=\frac{1,812}{\$16,490}

r=0.1098847786

r=0.1098847786\times 100

r=10.98847786\%

r\approx 10.99\%

Therefore, the annual interest rate is 10.99%.

The Reverend Henry Whitehead was skeptical of John Snow's conclusion about the Broad Street pump. After the Broad Street cholera
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

The main reason it was important to study this group was:

1) If Whitehead had found that many people had drunk water from the Broad Street pump and not caught cholera, that would have been evidence against Snow's hypothesis.

Step-by-step explanation:

But Dr. John Snow was able to convince many councillors who ensured that the pump handle was removed from the Broad Street pump.  Within a few days of this removal, the cholera epidemic ended.  This step proved that Dr. Snow was right from the beginning.  The pump handle was the means that the cholera epidemic was being spread from one person to another within Broad Street area, since many usually fetch water from the pump.

A nutritionist attempts to determine an association between where food is prepared and the number of calories the food contains.
Oksi-84 [34.3K]
Given the conditional relative frequency table below which was generated by column using frequency table data comparing the number of calories in a meal to whether the meal was prepared at home or at a restaurant.

Number of Calories and Location of Meal Preparation.
                                   Home                Restaurant            Total
≥ 500 calories              0.15                      0.55                  0.28

< 500 calories              0.85                      0.45                  0.72

Total                             1.0                        1.0                    1.0

To determine whether there is an association between where food is prepared and the number of carories the food contain, we recall that an "association" exists between two categorical variables if the column conditional relative frequencies are different for the columns of the table. The bigger the differences in the conditional relative frequencies, the stronger the association between the variables. If the conditional relative frequencies are nearly equal for all categories, there may be no association between the variables. Such variables are said to be <span>independent.

For the given conditional relative freduency, we can see that there is a significant difference between the columns of the table.
i.e. 0.15 is significantly different from 0.55 and 0.85 is significantly different from 0.45

Therefore, we can conclude from the given answer options that t</span><span>here is an association because the value 0.15 is not similar to the value 0.55</span>

nikklg [1K]

Answer:

The location offering the better price is The Framers. It is cheaper by $1.35

Step-by-step explanation:

I've Been Framed:

50% of $115 = $57.5

10% of $57.5 = $5.75

$57.5 - $5.75 = $51.75

Total: $51.75

The Framers:

30% of $120 = $36

$120 - $36 = $84

40% of $84 = $33.6

$84 - $33.6 = $50.4

Difference: $1.35
