All you need to do is change 5% into a decimal which would be 5/100 = .05
then multiply the decimal by the total volume to get the amount of active ingredients in ml
.05 * 56ml = 2.8 ml of active ingredient.

Hope that helps!

In a polar reaction mechanism, the atom that gives away electrons in a neutral nucleophile will end up as a(n):
Ray Of Light [21]

The question is incomplete, the complete question is shown in the image attached.

Answer:

Cation

Explanation:

In a polar reaction mechanism, a specie must give out electrons and another specie must accept those electrons.

The specie that gives out electrons becomes electron deficient and positively charged so we refer to such a specie as a cation.

Hence, the specie that looses electrons becomes a cation.

An atom's atomic number is 7. Its valence is most likely ... An atom's atomic number is 7. Its valence is most likely ... 7 5 3
Naya [18.7K]

The valence of an atom is defined as the number of bonds formed by the atom in the molecule.

The given atomic number is 7.

The electronic configuration of atom having atomic number 7 is:

1s^{2}2s^{2}2p^{3}

From the electronic configuration, it is clear that number of electrons in the outer most orbital (valence shell electron) is 5.

Hence, for an atom whose atomic number is 7. Its valence is 5.
