Well, let us solve this step by step.

We know that Michelle earns 349 plus 3% of the Purchase price. Let us call the Purchase price as P, so that:

Earnings, E = 349 + 0.03 P

So if she earns 8,965 (E = 8,965) so we can find P:

8,965 = 349 + 0.03 P

0.03 P = 8,616

P = $287,200

What is the present value of a $50,000 decreasing perpetuity beginning in one year if the discount rate is 7% and the payments d
Trava [24]

Answer:

Present Value = $1666666.67

Step-by-step explanation:

Present Value of a Growing Perpuity is calculated using the following formula

PV =D/(r - g)

Where D = Dividend

r = Discount Rate

g = Growth rate

D = $50,000

r = 7%

r = 7/100

r = 0.07

g = 4%

g = 4/100

g = 0.04

PV = D/(r-g)

Becomes

PV = $50,000/(0.07-0.04)

PV = $50,000/0.03

PV = $1,666,666.67

So the Present Value of the perpuity is $1,666,666.67

Divide 60 kg in the ratio of 5 : 7.
CaHeK987 [17]
The ratio can be written in parts as shown below;
\frac{5}{12} : \frac{7}{12}
Then, 60 can be divided as shown below;
\frac{5}{12} *60: \frac{7}{12} *60

What is the quotient (x3 – 3x2 + 3x – 2) ÷ (x2 – x + 1)?
timofeeve [1]

We need to find the quotient of the given division problem.

\frac{x^{3}-3x^{2}+3x-2}{x^{2}-x+1}

In order to find its quotient, we will use long division.

x^{2}-x+1)x^{3}-3x^{2}+3x-2

First of all, we put x in the quotient as x^{2} goes into x^{3}, x times.

So, we get:

x^{2}-x+1)x^{3}-3x^{2}+3x-2(x

\text{ ..................}x^{3}-x^{2}+x

Upon subtracting, we get:

\text{....................}-2x^{2}+2x-2

We can see that x^{2} goes into -2x^{2}, -2 times, therefore, the next term in the quotient will be -2. This makes our quotient as (x-2).
