You are playing a video game. For each diamond you collect, you earn 80 points. You also earn 100 bonus points by completing the

level in less than 2 minutes. You need to earn more than 1220 points to continue on to the next level. Write and solve an inequality that represents the numbers dd of diamonds you must collect in less than 2 minutes to advance to the next level.

You need to collect 14 diamonds in atleast a minute and 40 sec so it would be a diamond in every 5 seconds and then finish the level in  40 seconds

Given

For each diamond you collect, you earn 80 point

earn 100 bonus points by completing the level in less than 2 minutes.

earn more than 1220 points to continue on to the next level

Find the inequality that represents the numbers dd of diamonds you must collect in less than 2 minutes to advance to the next level.

To proof

As given in the question

For each diamond  earn point = 80

bonus points by completing the level in less than 2 minutes = 100

earn more than 1220 points to continue on to the next level

Let us assume that the number of diamond = d

The inequality written in the form

we  get

80d + 100 \geq 1220

now solving the above equation

80d \geq1120

d \geq14

Thus the  numbers  of diamonds you must collect in less than 2 minutes to advance to the next level be 14.

Hence proved

Answer:

D. 63%

Step-by-step explanation:

the white marble was picked out 41 of the 65 times, so 41/65

divide 41 by 65 in your calculator and you get .6307

then multiply it by 100 because it asked for a percentage and you get 63%

Answer:

We can claim with 95% confidence that the proportion of executives that prefer trucks is between 19.2% and 32.8%.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a sample of executives, of size n=160, and the proportion that prefer trucks is 26%.

We have to calculate a 95% confidence interval for the proportion.

The sample proportion is p=0.26.

The standard error of the proportion is:

\sigma_p=\sqrt{\dfrac{p(1-p)}{n}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{0.26*0.74}{160}}\\\\\\ \sigma_p=\sqrt{0.0012}=0.0347

The critical z-value for a 95% confidence interval is z=1.96.

The margin of error (MOE) can be calculated as:

MOE=z\cdot \sigma_p=1.96 \cdot 0.0347=0.068

Then, the lower and upper bounds of the confidence interval are:

LL=p-z \cdot \sigma_p = 0.26-0.068=0.192\\\\UL=p+z \cdot \sigma_p = 0.26+0.068=0.328

The 95% confidence interval for the population proportion is (0.192, 0.328).

We can claim with 95% confidence that the proportion of executives that prefer trucks is between 19.2% and 32.8%.
