You need to find the greatest common factor of 30 and 48.

First find the prime factorizations of 30 and 48.

30/2 = 15
15/3 = 5
5/5 = 1

48/2 = 24
24/2 = 12
12/2 = 6
6/2 = 3
3/3 = 1

The prime factorizations are:
30 = 2 * 3 * 5
48 = 2^4 * 3

To find the GCF, you need the product of the common factors with the lower exponent.

Both 30 and 48 have 2 as a factor. 30 has 2 and 48 has 2^4. Pick the one with the lower exponent: 2.

Both 30 and 48 have 3 as a common factor. Pick 3.

GCF = 2 * 3 = 6

She needs 6 containers.

You find the gcf/ greatest common factor of both numbers which is 6, so 6 plastic containers.

A road bike has a wheel diameter of 622 mm. What is the circumference of the wheel? Use 3.14 for π?
Mkey [24]
That would be 1953.08
diameter = circumference/pi, so reverse it and multiply 622 by 3.14

A gardener brought 5 rabbits, after 2 months rabbits became 10, and after 4 months they became 20. If the growth continues on th
kramer

Answer:

Initial population of Rabbit = 5 rabbit

After 2 months

Population of Rabbit = 10

After 4 months

population of rabbit = 20

Formula for growth is :

G = G_{0}[1 + R]^n, where G is final population and G_{0} is initial population, and R is growth rate.

1. 10 = 5 [1 +R]²

Dividing both sides by 5 , we get

2 = (1 + R)²

→ R + 1 = √2  ⇒ taking positive root of 2

→R = √2 -1

Amount of rabbit after 1 year = 20(1 + \sqrt2 -1)^8= 20 \times (\sqrt2)^8= 20 \times 2^4= 20 \times 16= 320

Sam gave jen 1/2 of his jujubes .jen ate 1/2 ofthe jujubes and gave rest to kyle.kyle kept 8 of the jujubes and gave the last 10
erastovalidia [21]
Let x = the # jujubes Sam had
he gave x/2 to jen
jen eats half of it  =    1/2(x/2) =    x/4
the remaining x/4 he gave to kyle
kyle kept 8 and gave 10 to Kim
so
             x/4 - 8 = 10
             x/4 = 18
             x =72
thus    jen had 36 jujubes
jen eat    18  jujubes

Answer:

  (x +6)^2 +(y -4)^2 = 36

Step-by-step explanation:

The center is (-6, 4) and the radius is 6. Putting those into the standard form equation, you have ...

  (x -h)^2 +(y -k)^2 = r^2 . . . . . . center (h, k), radius r

  (x -(-6))^2 +(y -4)^2 = 6^2 . . . . numbers filled in

  (x +6)^2 +(y -4)^2 = 36 . . . . . . cleaned up a bit
