Peter mixes 4 1/4 cups of orange juice, 2 1/4 cups of ginger ale, and 6 1/3 cups of strawberry lemonade to make some punch. What is the total number of cups of punch that Peter makes?

Well, if you add all of it together... First add the whole numbers together.
4+2+6 which equals 12
then add the fraction parts
1/4+1/4 (which would equal 1/2) then + 1/3 which would then make your answer a total of
12 3/5
