slope = (80 - 20)/(8 - 2)

Slope = 60/6

Slope = 10

y = mx + b

b = y - mx

b = 20 - 10(2)

b = 0

So equation: y = 10x

Answer

B . y = 10x

Answer:

Option B. y = 10x

Step-by-step explanation:

In this graph a line is given which passes through origin (0, 0),(2, 20) and (8, 80).

Since the standard form of the equation of a line is

y = mx + c where m is the slope of this line and c is the y- intercept.

Now slope m of this line will be m = (y - y')/(x - x')= (80 - 20)/(8 - 2) = 60/6 = 10

therefore equation will be y = 10x +c

Since line is passing through origin therefore c = 0.

Now the equation will be y = 10x.

Therefore Option B. y = 10x is the solution.

If n(A-B)=18,n(AuB)=70 and n(AnB)=25 then find n(B)
svp [43]

n(A-B) denotes elements which are in A but not in B

n(Au B) denotes elements in A and B

n(AnB) denotes elements that are common in A and B

Now I will add one more set

n(B-A) which denotes elements in B but not in A

So, n(AuB) = n(A-B) + n( B-A) +n(AnB)

70 = 18 +n(B-A) + 25

70 = 43 + n(B-A)

n(B-A) = 70-43

n(B-A) = 27

So, n(B) = n( B-A) + n( AnB)

= 27+25

= 52

A combination washer/dryer costs $1,179. New parts for this washer/dryer cost $211, labor to repair it costs $553, and shipping
Keith_Richards [23]
The better deal is the Full Warranty, by approximately 174 dollars. To solve the cost of the full warranty, simply multiply 30 percent times the cost of the washer/dryer.30 x 1,179 = 353.70. You do not need to add anything to this because the warranty covers the extra costs. To solve for the cost of the limited warranty, multiply 14 percent times the cost of the washer/dryer, plus the cost of the new parts and the repair center costs (the warranty only covers the labor repair costs): (.14 x 1,179) + 211 + 152 --> 165.06 + 211 + 152 = 528.06. The full warranty is clearly cheaper. To figure out by how much, simply subtract the full warranty from the limited warranty: 528.06 - 353.70 = 174.36. To round to the nearest number, take off the decimal: 174. So that means your answer is D hope this helps.

5 rubber stamps cost $9.70 which equation would help determine the cost of 11 rubber stamps
Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

$1.94 times 11 =21.34

Step-by-step explanation:

  So 5 rubber stamps cost $9.70. Your going to divide $9.70 by 5 so you get the cost of each stamp which is $1.94 each stamp. Your going to take $1.94 and multiply it by 11. You will get 21.34. :D Hope i helped you c: By the way this is the simplified version of the equation so i dont know if you want a longer version of the answer but ya! :D
