Answer:  Both the expressions are exactly same . Both are representing the number of tokens she has now.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The total number of tokens Angelique has= 20

Since, she lost some of them, let the number of lost tokens be t.

Then, The remaining  tokens she has = 20-t

Then her father triples the tokens she has.

now, the number of token she has=3(20-t)....>Angelique's expression

By using distributive property,

The number of token she has=3\times20-3t

⇒The number of token she has=60-3t...> Dante's expressions

Hence, both are the same expressions. Both are representing the number of tokens she has now.

Answer:

3:     tripples Angelique tokens

20:     number of tokens she starts with

t:          number of tokens she lost

20−t: the number of tokens she  has left after she loses some

Dante's Expression: 60−3t

60:         three times the number she starts with

t:          number of tokens she lost

3t:          three times the number of tokens she lost

60−3t: number of tokens she has after her dad triples them

The value of zlatans house has increased by 7% his house is now valued at £749 000 work out the value of the house before the in
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

Let x be the value of the house before increase

Since it's increases add 7% to the overall 100%

107/100x = 749000

x = 700000

The value of the house before increase is £700000.

Hope this helps.

Amina used the quadratic formula to solve an equation. Her result shows two solutions that are complex numbers with imaginary pa
Mama L [17]

A quadratic equation has either two different real roots, one real root, or two conjugate complex roots (this is the case when the discriminant is negative, i.e. when you have no real roots).

Two conjugate complex roots have the same real part and opposite imaginary parts. So, the solutions to Amina's equation will be in this form:

a+bi,\ \ a-bi

For some a,b\in\mathbb{R},\ b\neq 0

Which expression has the same GCF as 15x2 - 21x?
Mice21 [21]

Answer:

15x^2 +21 x

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the following expression:

15x^2 -21 x

We can find the GCF with the following steps.

1. Find the GCF for the numerical part 15 and -21

The factors for 15 are : 1,3,5,15

The factors for -21 are -21,-7,-3,-1,1,3,7,21

And the common factors are 1,3

The GCF for the numerical part is 3*1 = 3

2. Find the GCF for the variable

The factors of x^2 are : x*x

The factors of x are: x

The common factors are x for this case, so then the GCF for the variable part is x

3. Multiply the two results from steps 1 and 2

GCf= 3*x = 3x

If we consider the new expression:

15x^2 +21x

We can find the GCF with the following steps.

1. Find the GCF for the numerical part 15 and -21

The factors for 15 are : 1,3,5,15

The factors for -21 are 1,3,7,21

And the common factors are 1,3

The GCF for the numerical part is 3*1 = 3

2. Find the GCF for the variable

The factors of x^2 are : x*x

The factors of x are: x

The common factors are x for this case, so then the GCF for the variable part is x

3. Multiply the two results from steps 1 and 2

GCf= 3*x = 3x

And as we can see both GCF are equal. So then we satisfy the condition required.
