Answer: 0.548J/g°C

Explanation:

Q = s × m × DeltaT

Q = Heat (J)

S = Specific Heat Capacity

M = mass (g)

DeltaT = Change in temperature (°C)

0.158Kg x 1000 = 158g

2.510J = s x 158g x (61°C-32°C)

2.510J/(158g x 29°C) = s

S = 0.54779.... J/g°C

S = 0.548 J/g°C

Answer:

b . Irradiated food is shown to not be radioactive.

Explanation:

If it can be proven that irradiated food is not radioactive, then it will effective dispute the idea that irradiated food are less safe to eat.

  • An irradiated food is one in which ionizing radiations have been employed to improve food quality.
  • Thus, bacteria and other food spoilers can be exterminated from the food.
  • Most irradiated food do not contain radiation and are fit for consumption.

If it can be proven, that this is true, then it will challenge the idea that irradiated foods are not safe.

When an electron of an atom falls from a higher energy level to the ground state, the atom loses 9.4145 x 10-25 joules of energy
Ann [662]
E = \frac{hc}{wavelength}

given E = 9.4145E-25
h = 6.626E-34
c = 2.998E8
sub values into the equation above, and solve for wavelength.
You will get 0.211m

melisa1 [442]

We have to know the number of Na⁺ ions in the unit cell.

The number of Na⁺ ions in the unit cell is (D) 8.

Sodium oxide (Na2O) crystallizes in a structure in which the O2– ions are in a face - centered cubic lattice and the Na+ ions are in tetrahedral holes.

O²⁻ ions are in a face centred cubic lattice, so the number of O²⁻ ions per unit cell is equal to 4. The number of  tetrahedral hole= 2 X 4=8. Na+ ions are present in tetrahedral holes, which indicates there are 8 number of Na+ ions in the unit cell.

Using the solubility curve, what is the effect of increased temperature on the solubility of KBr in 100 grams of water? The solu
galina1969 [7]
The graph is needed to answer this question.

Solubility may increase or decrease with temperature depending on the properties of the solute and the solvent.

It is quite common that the solubility of the ionic compounds, like KBr, in water increases with temperature.

Use your solubility curve for the KBr and you wiil see a line that starts at a solubility a little greater than 50 grams of the salt in 100 grams of water for temperaute 0°C and increase linearly until almost 100 grams of the salt in 100 grams of water at 100°C.

So, in this case you can affirm that the solubility of KBr increases with the temperature.

Answer: the second option: the solubility increases.
