The price of a box of 15 cloud markers is $12.70. The price of a box of 42 cloud markers is $31.60. All prices are without tax,
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Here, The price of one box having N markers = Price of N markers + packaging charge

Let M be the price of one Marker and P' be the price of packaging of one box which is same for any size.

Since, The price of a box of 15 cloud markers is $12.70.

That is , 15 M + P' = 12.70 ---------(1)

Also,  The price of a box of 42 cloud markers is $31.60,

That is, 42 M + P' = 31.60 ---------(2),

Equation (2) - Equation (1),

27 M = 18.90,

⇒ M = 0.7

By putting the value of P in equation (1),

We get,

10.5 + P' = 12.70 ⇒ P' = 2.2,

Thus, the price of one marker, M = 0.7

And, the price of packaging one box, P' = 2.2

Thus, the price of a box of 50 marker = 50 × M + P' = 50×0.7 + 2.2 = 35 + 2.2 = $ 37.2

And, the equation that shows the price(P) of a box of N markers,

P = 0.7 N + 2.2

Sanjay bought a basket of oranges, a basket of apples,a basket of mangoes and a basket of peaches.He paid a total of Rs 790 for
Margarita [4]
Let a the price of a basket of oranges be O, that of a basket of apples A, a basket of mangoes M and a basket of peaches P, then
 O + A + M + P = 790   . . . (1)
M - 4 = P + 7 = 3O = A/2 . . . (2)
From (2), we have:
M = P + 11
O = (P + 7)/3
A = 2P + 14

Substituting for M, O and A into (1), gives:
(P + 7)/3 + 2P + 14 + P + 11 + P = 790
P + 7 + 6P + 42 + 3P + 33 + 3P = 2370
13P + 82 = 2370
13P = 2288
P = 176

Therefore, the price of a basket of peaches is Rs176.

In ΔFGH, f = 37 cm, ∠F=28° and ∠G=124°. Find the length of g, to the nearest 10th of a centimeter.
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

  65.3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The law of sines can be used for this.

  g/sin(G) = f/sin(F)

  g = (37 cm)sin(124°)/sin(28°) ≈ 65.3 cm . . . . multiply by sin(G)

The length of g is about 65.3 cm.
