V = 25,364.4 cm^3              Is volume
r = 2.7g/cm^3                      Is density

To calculate mass you use formula:
m= V*r
To avoid remembering this formula you can see the type of unit on each given variable. We can see that we have g/cm^3 and cm^3. If we multiply them, we negate cm^3 and cm^3 and we are left with g which is unit for mass.

m = 68,486,6 g   is the answer.

Question from endgenuity -:

A granite monument has a volume of 25,365.4 cm3. The density of granite is 2.7 g/cm3. Use this information to calculate the mass of the monument to the nearest tenth.

Answer:

The mass of the granite monument is ⇒ 68,486.6 g.

Step-by-step explanation:

Check Lampa20

I'm sorry Lampa20 but Instead of 68,486,6 g it should be 68,486.6 g

Event: Probability: A. Too much enamel 0.18 B. Too little enamel 0.24 C. Uneven application 0.33 D. No defects noted 0.47

let P(AC) = x, P(BC) = y, then P(A) + P(B) + P(C) - (x+y) = 1-0.47 = 0.53 x+y = 0.22
3. The probability of paint defects that results to an improper amount of paint and uneven application?
P(A U B U C) = 0.53

4. the probability of a paint defect that results to
the proper amount of paint, but uneven application?
P(C) - P(AC) - P(BC) = 0.47 - 0.22 = 0.25

A and B are disjoint so P(ABC) = 0, but you can have P(AC) and P(BC). you can't compute these separately here, but you can compute P(AC) + P(BC). By the way, P(AC) eg is just an abbreviated version of P(A∩C).

It takes 8 minutes for Byron to fill the kiddie pool in the backyard using only a handheld hose. When his younger sister is impa
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Let us say that the procedure of completely filling up the pool with water is called “1 job”. Therefore the rates of the equipment in doing the job would be:

Rate of handheld hose = 1 job / 8 minutes                  ---> 1

Rate of lawn sprinkler = r                                             ---> 2

Rate of the two combines = 1 job/ 5 minutes               ---> 3

So we are to find the equation to use, in this case, we simply have to add equations 1 and 2 to get 3:

1 / 8 + r = 1 / 5

Multiplying both sides by 5:

(5 / 8) + 5 r = 1                                                               ---> ANSWER

Arturiano [62]

Answer:

Histogram.

Step-by-step explanation:

Such a Graph is called Histogram.

A histogram can be defined as a visual representation of data in form of bars of different heights. In histogram, each and every bar groups numbers into ranges. The greater the height of the bar, the larger the data falls into its range. It basically represents shape and spread of continuous data sample.

A website reports that 70% of its users are from outside a certain country, and 60% of its users logon the website every day. Su
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

The value is P (I |  L  )  =     0.63

The probability has increased

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The percentage that are from outside the country is P(O) = 0.70

    The percentage that logs on everyday is P(L) = 0.60

    The percentage that logs on everyday that are from the inside the country is P(L | I) = 0.80

Generally using Bayes' Rule the probability that a person is from the country given that he logs on the website every day is mathematically represented as

     P (I |  L  )  =  \frac{P(I)* P(L|I)}{ P(O) *P(L|O) + P(I) *P(L|I) }

Where P(I) is the percentage that are from inside that country which is mathematically represented as

       P(I) =  1 -  P(O)

      P(I) =  1 -  0.70

      P(I) =  0.30

And P(L| O) is percentage that logs on everyday that are from the outside the country which is evaluated as

      P(L| O)  =  1-  P(L| I)

       P(L| O)  =  1-  0.80

       P(L| O)  = 0.20

P (I |  L  )  =  \frac{ 0.3* 0.80 }{ 0.7 *0.20 + 0.3 * 0.8 }

P (I |  L  )  =     0.63

Given that the percentage that are from inside that country is P(I) = 0.30

and that the probability that a person is from the country given that he logs on the website every day is P (I | L ) = 0.63

We see that the additional information increased the probability

According to a human modeling project, the distribution of foot lengths of women is approximately Normal with a mean of 23.3 ce
Yakvenalex [24]

Answer:

26.11% of women in the United States will wear a size 6 or smaller

Step-by-step explanation:

Problems of normally distributed samples are solved using the z-score formula.

In a set with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the zscore of a measure X is given by:

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

The Z-score measures how many standard deviations the measure is from the mean. After finding the Z-score, we look at the z-score table and find the p-value associated with this z-score. This p-value is the probability that the value of the measure is smaller than X, that is, the percentile of X. Subtracting 1 by the pvalue, we get the probability that the value of the measure is greater than X.

In this problem, we have that:

\mu = 23.3, \sigma = 1.4

In the United States, a woman's shoe size of 6 fits feet that are 22.4 centimeters long. What percentage of women in the United States will wear a size 6 or smaller?

This is the pvalue of Z when X = 22.4. So

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

Z = \frac{22.4 - 23.3}{1.4}

Z = -0.64

Z = -0.64 has a pvalue of 0.2611

26.11% of women in the United States will wear a size 6 or smaller
