Answer:

The equation is:

        j/g=5/2

Or, what is equivalent:

        j=5g/2

Explanation:

This is the table that shows the amount of lemon juice and sugar needed to make three different-sized batches of lemonade using the same recipe:

                        Lemon juice (mL)       Sugar (g)

Batch A               500                            200

Batch B                750                            300

Batch C              1500                            600

You need to write an equation to describe the relationship between j, the amount of lemon juice in mL and s, the amount of sugar in g.

Calculate some ratios, to determine the kind of relation between the amount of juice and the amount of sugar in the recipe.

  • Batch A: lemon juice / sugar = 500 / 200 = 5/2

  • Batch B: lemon juice / sugar = 750/300 = 5/2

  • Batch C:  lemon juice / sugar = 1500/600 = 5/2

Hence, the amount of juice, j, and the amound of sugar, s, are proportional and the constant of proportionality is 5/2. From this, the equation is:

        j/g=5/2

Or, what is equivalent (solving for j):

        j=5g/2

X = 3 and CB = 19. To find x you would put 4x-9 + 3x+5 = 17. Remember to get all the x’s on one side and the other numbers on the other aide of the equal sign. Then plug x into the length of BC.

Sal's Sandwich Shop sells wraps and sandwiches as part of its lunch specials. The profit on every sandwich is $2 and the profit
kifflom [539]
This is a very long question. I'm not going to write all of it out but I will give you a starting point. Find your x by making y in the formula equal to 0.

2x + 3y = 1470

2x + 3(0) = 1470

2x = 1470

x = 735

Your furthest point on the x axis is (735,0).

Do the same for y.

2x + 3y = 1470.

2(0) + 3y = 1470

3y= 1470

y= 490

Your highest point is (0,490).

Now that both are plotted, draw a straight line connecting the two points. There's your graph.

The random variable X is normally distributed with mean 82 and standard deviation 7.4. Find the value of q such that P(82 − q &l
mezya [45]
P(82 - q < x < 82 + q) = 0.44
P(x < 82 + q) - P(82 - q) = 0.44
P(z < (82 + q - 82)/7.4 - P(z < (82 - q - 82)/7.4) = 0.44
P(z < q/7.4) - P(z < -q/7.4) = 0.44
P(z < q/7.4) - (1 - P(z < q/7.4) = 0.44
P(z < q/7.4) - 1 + P(z < q/7.4) = 0.44
2P(z < q/7.4) - 1 = 0.44
2P(z < q/7.4) = 1.44
P(z < q/7.4) = 0.72
P(z < q/7.4) = P(z < 0.583)
q/7.4 = 0.583
q = 0.583 x 7.4 = 4.31
