Speed 1 = 115 km/h

T2  =  5 hours

Speed 2  = 136 km/h

Solution:

Speed is the rate of change of distance with time.

          Distance  = speed x time

Now that we know the speed and time, we can calculate the distance covered;

      Distance  = D1 + D2

D1  = 115 km/h x 3hr = 345km

D2 = 136km/hr x 5hr = 680km

    Distance  =  345km + 680km  = 1025km
