This is the concept of algebra, for us to evaluate the length of the segment TQ, we need to evaluate the value of x first. From the above information;
SR=RQ
this implies that;
SV=VQ and TS=TQ
hence;
4x-1=15
4x=15+1
4x=16
dividing both sides by 4 we get:
(4x)/4=16/4
x=4
therefore since TS=TQ
then
TQ=TS=3x+2
but
x=3
Thus;
TS=3*4+2=14 units

We know tht QV = 15 and TQ = TS, QV = SV;
4 x - 1 = 15
4 x = 15 + 1
4 x = 16
x = 16 : 4 = 4
After that:
TQ = 3 * 4 + 2 = 12 + 2 = 14

The polynomial 10x3 + 35x2 − 4x − 14 is factored by grouping.
vova2212 [387]

Answer: the coomon factor that is missing from both sets of parentheses is 2x + 7.

Explanation:

These are the steps to factor the polynomial with the reasons that justify them:

Step                                                   Reason

1. 10x³ + 35x² - 4x - 14                       Given

2. (10x³ + 35x²) - (4x + 14)                 Group the terms

3. 5x² (2x + 7) - 2 (2x + 7)                Common factor 5x² and 2

After this, you extract common factor 2x + 7 and have the complete factored polynomial: (2x + 7) (5x² - 2).

The winner of a weight-lifting competition bench-pressed 400 pounds. All other competitors bench-pressed at least 23 pounds less
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

x\le 400-23\\ \\x\le 377\ pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

The winner of a weight-lifting competition bench-pressed weight 400 pounds.

All other competitors bench-pressed at least 23 pounds less. So, the maximum weight that all other competitors bench-pressed is

400-23=977\ pounds

If x pounds is the weight that the other competitors bench-pressed, then

x\le 400-23\\ \\x\le 377\ pounds

that sounds as the other competitors bench-pressed at most 377 pounds weight.
