</span>vicarious punishment happened when someone become discouraged to do something after seeing negative consquences happened to other people that trying to do the exact same thing as them.

For example, if a group of employees saw another employee being yelled at by their boss for asking a question, that group will be discouraged to ask a question to their boss in the future.
