Part A: 5 is the coefficient, w is the variable, 50 is the constant

Part B: 10 x 5 = 50 + 2 x 20 = 40+ 50 = $140

Part C: the constant,50,would change and become 85.  Hope this helps :)

Part A is W and M because those are the coefficient variable and constant.

Part B  10*5=50 ~20*2=40 50+40=90

part c  it would change to 85

I really hope this helps you ^-^

A middle school band has 45 sixth and seventh graders The ratio of sixth to seventh graders is 2 to 3 how many sixth graders are
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

  18

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 2+3 = 5 ratio units representing 45 band members, so each ratio unit represents 45/5 = 9 band members.

The 2 ratio units of sixth graders represent 2×9 = 18 sixth grade band members.

Which is a correct first step in solving the inequality –4(2x – 1) > 5 – 3x?distribute –4 to get –8x 4 > 5 – 3x.distribute
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

Option A is correct.

The first step in solving the inequality is:

to distribute -4 to get  -8x + 4> 5-3x

Step-by-step explanation:

The distributive property says that:

a\cdot(b+c) =a\cdot b + a\cdot c

Given the inequality:

-4(2x-1)> 5-3x

Apply the distributive property we have;

-4 \cdot (2x) -4\cdot (-1)> 5-3x

Simplify:

-8x + 4> 5-3x

Therefore, the first step in solving the inequality is:

to distribute -4 to get  -8x + 4> 5-3x

Can you answer this plzz and the pic that goes with it???????? Thx soo much!!!!!
kkurt [141]

Answer: c. t > 82

Step-by-step explanation:

Let t represent the number of tickets that the committee would sell.

The dance committee of Pine Bluff Middle School earns $72 from a bake sale and will earn $4 for each ticket they sell to the Spring Fling dance. This means that the revenue that they would generate from selling x tickets is

72 + 4x

The dance will cost $400.

To make profit, revenue must be greater than cost. Therefore, the inequality to determine the number of tickets the committee could sell to have money left over after they pay for this year's dance is

72 + 4x > 400

4x > 400 - 72

4x > 428

x > 328/4

x > 82
