When Hilary accepted a position with Xerox Corporation in San Francisco, she knew little about what to expect. However, all her
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

Xerox seems to be satisfying Hilary's <u>social needs</u><u>.</u>

Explanation:

According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, they must be fulfilled in order to keep employees motivated and have fewer turnovers. Here are the five stages of needs in Maslow’s hierarchy:

  • First level.-  Physiological needs: <em>food, water, sleep, shelter, excretions. </em>
  • Second level.- Safety and security needs: <em>body, employment, morality, family, health, property. </em>
  • Third level.- Social needs: <em>friendship, family, work relationships, sexual intimacy.</em>
  • Fourth level.- Esteem needs: <em>confidence, achievement, respect, self-esteem. </em>
  • Fifth level.- Self-actualization needs: <em>morality, creativity, problem-solving, lack of prejudice.  </em>

It is important for a company to create and maintain a healthy and welcoming work environment, where the employees feel respected, supported and belonging.

In the given example, Hilary received a  thorough orientation to the company, was introduced to her co-workers, was invited to lunch daily, and was encouraged to join a company-sponsored employees' club, allowing her to form relationships at work. This is part of social integration and satisfies her needs for friendship in the work environment.

How could accessibility influence your career or study choice
Semenov [28]
Accessibility could influence your career or study choice greatly. Accessibility means that you have something accessible to you, that you can use it. If you don't have the means, or the access to a career or study choice, it will be really difficult for you to actually take part in them. Although you can fight to achieve your goals, ultimately accessiblility, or the lack of it, may prevail so that you don't get that job or don't enroll in a college you want to.

A chess-playing computer program that routinely calculates all possible outcomes of all possible game moves best illustrates pro
svetlana [45]

Answer: An algorithm

Explanation: Computer programs are algorithms. They are finite set of rules or instructions carefully written to perform a specific task. The algorithm is written in a flexible manner without the moves being 'hard-coded', This allows the program to adjust and routinely calculate all possible game moves.

Hard coding the moves reduces the flexibility of the algorithm. Hard coding is used when there is something we want to embed within our program permanently without being changed.

The algorithm only states the rules of the game, without the limiting the moves a player can make.
