a woodworking artist makes two types of carvings Type X and type Y he spends 2 hours making each type X carving and 3 hours maki

ng each type y carving and he can spend up to 30 hours each week making carvings his materials cost him $6 for each type X carvings and $4 for each type y carving and he must keep his weekly cost for materials to 120 or less if x is the number of Type X carvings he makes in a week and Y is the number of type y carvings he makes in a week, which of the following systems of inequalities models this situation?

Solution:

Number of carving made = Two Types X and Y

x = number of Type X carvings artist makes in a week and

Y = the number of type y carvings Artist makes in a week

Artist spends 2 hours making each type X carving and 3 hours making each type y carving and he can spend up to 30 hours each week making carvings.

Above Statement in terms of equation

1. 2 X + 3 Y ≤ 30

Artist materials cost him $6 for each type X carvings and $4 for each type y carving and weekly cost for materials to 120 or less.

Above Statement in terms of equation

2. 6 x + 4 y ≤ 120

For the situation Described , the inequality will be

1. X > 0

2. Y > 0

3. 2 X + 3 Y ≤ 30

4. 6 x + 4 y ≤ 120

All the information we have are the probabilities, and what we need is the lowest number: so let's choose the smallest probability among the numbers: 0.0065%, B 0.0037%,C 0.0108%,D 0.0029%, E 0.0145%. The smallest of the numbers is 0.0029% -it starts with two 00s and the number that follows, 2, is smaller than all there others - so the smallest probability is in option D - and the model would be the corresponding model (but we're missing some information here)
